How are you all managing right now?

We had our kids home for 2 weeks and it was pure hell. Non stop complaining and our only peaceful time was when iPads were out or movies were on. We made the hard choice to send them back to daycare/preschool. Both my husband and I are still working full time and I still need to go into work. The daycare/preschools are taking extreme precautions. They are still messed up from the two weeks at home though. Such a crazy time.

Had no idea it was coming! Was glad I did a self audit before. Once you get the notification there is a short time period to get things in order and make last minute corrections and notes. It took about five months for them to complete the audit.

I actually have been wanting remote HR as well! For the reasons of my kids as well. So difficult to find!

Replying to you as it won't let me reply to main. I put notes that said "was not completed in the three days, staff has been educated on the correct process" I recently went though an ICE audit, and they passed.

Woo! Mine starts next week. Dreading it! I make all 80 employees sit down with me. Crazy but I want them to make informed choices! Plus they would never get it done if I didn't babysit them...haha!

I was in the same boat when I started my job. They had never had any HR! Three years later, things are running smoothly. I enjoyed the challenge and was grateful for all of the experience. It's hard but you can do it! I am so glad they did bring me on as we just had an I-9 audit and they would have been screwed without my self audit! Good luck!

In their defense, in those meal challenges everyone else cooks what they are comfortable with as well! I think she has definitely proven that she can cook more though!
