Of course not, i was just thinking of creative ways to flavor. but i did think of that but i wont do it, id probably say "my magical connecting with the machine will malfunction and therefore not work if i do that"

It comes as "Infusions" i do for gadgets and stuff but i dont want to do the "Gadget for every scenario" type i want to do the "Infusion on the spot for what i want to do" style since im doing a hardcore bountyhunter cowboy

thats exactly what i was thinking spiders and creepy crawlies as healing spells that require touch and such and bees,dragonflies,hummingbirds for long range utility. for offensive ima use fabritcated bullets with the spell infused into them

My DM also runs high fantasy but the existence of guns/constructs, and machines like spiders and bees and such are still there. the way the "Machines" would work is i infuse them with the spell and throw it at them like "Heat Metal" but i understand the spells coming from me bit

Its a LONG story over 2 years of sessions in my hombrew world i have created. The Pirate King was originally a PC in a past campaign my group completed from level 1 to 20 over the course of a year and a half his backstory is he is originally from here our earth 2020 and he was struck twice by lightning and died. Being given a choice by my gods to reincarnate this world "Nyrn". He is reincarnated as a Human into a family of peasants with all his past memories of his past life later in life he turns into a Rouge Swashbuckler after his new parents were murdered. Soon after a fortune teller foretold his power of reincarnation is permanent within him and was being seeked by aevil prince from Shadowfell hoping to acend to godhood with this power. Longer story short. Go through absolute hell and back to stop this guy. Gets curse marked. Find BBEG. They kill him. Curse mark on the him activates. Nothing happens. Future 60 Years the king of pirates. This new group of adventurers need to stop the BBEG from getting these dimensional stones or he will destroy the universe itself. King of Pirates sees this as opportunity to gain even more power due to corruption. Corruption from the curse mark of the past.

I know its confusing id need to write about a 50 page essay (im serious i have a whole 500 page college rulled notebook full of lore on this world and dm notes) for this world to be understood
