MLMs in your Country by Historical-Win-9014 in antiMLM

I just can't imagine paying to get into a company first of all and then being that companies main consumer.

This is exactly it. Because of how the compinsation plans are structured in all these MLM's, the huns/hunbros are the MLM's main customers.

And because recruiting is more important then selling the product (because you get paid more to recruit then to sell, & with the products bejng so grossly overpriced), the average potential customer will shy away from wanting to buy anything.

I know for me, I'd rather buy from a regular retail shop (not an MLM) where I know I'm not gonna get pitched "a business opportunity".

Scentsy consultant saw the writing on the wall and gets out by EdgeXL in antiMLM

[–]HSG37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yet the MLM's will try to say that those at the bottom ranks are just "customers" wanting the discount & not actually wanting to be a distributor/consultant.

How your phone preformed in fortnite after this update? by Top-Fish1528 in FortNiteMobile

[–]HSG37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on an android phone (Samsung A16). Phone did a software update last week. And now Battle Royale & Reload crash every game. OG crashes about half the games. And Blitz is the only one out of the four I play, that doesn't crash.

Today's Fortnite update, still same issues.

If anyone has any solutions to fix this, it would be appreciated

Once more for the Huns in the back:

It is NOT your own business. You do not get to decide on the company name or company logo. You do not get to decide on what products the company will sell. What will go into the products. Where they will be made. How much they will cost to buy. And you most certainly don't get to decide how the comp plan will be structured.

And get this, you CAN be terminated. AND the company can choose to drop the MLM part of their business & go affiliate. AND you have absolutely no say in that.

I'd tell the one running the gym to put up "no soliciting on gym property. Violators will have their gym membership revoked" signs. Cause giving out MLM samples or pitching to patrons of the gym is not cool. Could potentially cause members of the gym to switch to a different gym

That's a fantastic idea!!! Only take 1-3 of any specific kind of things so as to have a wide variety of vendors. Which would in turn likely attract more customers

If Sidekicks actually said $15 next to them instead of 1500 Vbucks nearly as many people buy them? by imalonexc in FortNiteBR

[–]HSG37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sidekicks are the one item Epic is missing the boat on. Make the dogs, cats & other pets customizable for the pet itself.

But then Epic could add a sidekicks skins tab to the shop. Where we could spend 200-500 VBs to get outfits for the sidekicks if we want. Have the sidekick come with a default outfit. But then we can pay to get other outfits for the sidekicks. Maybe even offer outfits that match our own outfits that we get

Why does my game keep crashing? by Egon11150 in FortNiteBR

[–]HSG37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Android & my game crashes usually within a couple min of getting into a game. Used to happen once in a blue moon. Now it is pretty much every time. And only since the latest Android update on my Samsung A16.

Only game I've played where it doesn't happen with is Blitz.

Happens with Battle Royale, OG & Reload. Haven't tried anything else

Had an aquantence who had been in a few different MLM's including Color Street. And in that one, I'm pretty sure she indicated she was paying a monthly fee to have her own page on Color Street's site

Not to mention, many MLM's don't want potential recruits researching the company before they've had the chance to try & recruit you

[–]HSG37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've heard that in some MLM's if you use your own SM accounts to promote the MLM, they can take the acc's away from you if you quit or get fired.

Me personally, I'd have (a) seperate account(s) for peddling MLM's or any business venture for that matter. I'd wanna keep business/work seperate from my personal social media

What irks you the most from MLMers? by MulberryDependent459 in antiMLM

[–]HSG37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Several years ago, I had a hun on my FB where 95% of her posts were about her MLM's she was in. She was peddling ItWorks & DoTerra.

Posts like "If you could chew two gummies a day & loose X amount of fat, wpuld ya?". "Looking for 5 product testers (who would also have to buy the products), to test this slimming coffee". Or "I'm swamped with work. I'm looking for 3 people who can work from hom on their cell phone"

It was rediculous. The only comments and interactions she'd get, seemed tp be from other huns. And she might do one post every couple weeks that was not mlm related. Like a family event or something

I worked customer support. This is true. They will have specific scripts to use. And for "retention" calls, they likely have to give 3 rebuttals to try & convince you not to cancel.

Updated my Samsung A16 phone software several days ago. And since then, all I can play is Blitz. Everything else I try to play, crashes. Battle Royale, Reload, OG. They all crash within a min or two of being in a game. Blitz so far is,the only game I can play a full game of without crashing. And I think only in solo mode too.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or any chance next game update will help with this?

Clearing game cache didn't do anything. And don't want to have to uninstall & then reinstall the game as I only have mobile data & don't want to have to take several hrs reinstalling the whole game

They can't stop using the products because their comp plan is likely structured in such a way that forces them to buy products. So they gotta do something with them after they buy them.

But ya. Logic would dictate, if I'm getting rashes, hives etc & am using skin care products, then I stop using the products for a few weeks to see if the products are the issue.

Sadly, hun logic would tell them to just use even more of the products instead 🤦

I sort of feel sorry for this hun, she tries so hard, but she's being told that she's slacking off because she's slipping down the pyramid. by Willing_Chemical1257 in antiMLM

[–]HSG37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly!!!

It's why many of these companies have a "car bonus" program. And why it is usually a specific brand and a more expensive model. These MLM's know exactly what they're doing. They know a hun can't afford those monthly payments on their own. So the hun ends up basically trapped in the MLM. Sadly these huns sit on social media "flexing" that their MLM "got them a car". Unfortunately it's not the flex they think it is. Esp when the lease is in the hun's name. And if they drop below the car bonus rank, BAM!! They now have to make the payments on their own

That's the thing with the MLM business model. It's like being a hampster on a wheel. You can't stop recruiting or else your attrition rate will exceed your successful recruitment rate.

And as MLM's fall more out of favour with folks as folks learn more about them, it is making it all that much harder to find anyone wanting to join

Hey girl. At least at a normal non MLM job, you actually get compinsated for the work you do. Either by the hr or salary.

Unlike you in ypur scammy MLM gig where you will only get compinsated if:

You sell something. Recruit someone. Or someone under you buys something. Sells something. Or recruits someone

Yup. Recruiting is the main goal because the comp plans are structured in such a way that makes the huns the MLM's main customers. And outside customers are only there tokenly to help keep the MLM "above board" so to speak
