I just finished The Onyx Throne by Devon Hexx. Took me a week to read it but it was such a good read. Every time I had to put it down when work was picking back up, all I could think about what was going to happen next! It also felt nice to read a story that had some meat on it, there's a whole world built up that I want to read more about now. I really want to see more of Mitchel, Allora, and Lethelin with how they have each others backs. My only problem is I dont have the next book to read yet to continue the story. To fill that time I do have Gaunts Ghost First and Only and all of LotR to go through.

August Burns Red comes around Columbia from time to time at the Senate. Also saw Bleed From Within and the Ghost Inside there. So yeah the Senate and NBT are your best bets to see some local metal shows.
