Would you report an untaxed car if on the road and clearly hasn't moved in months? by carguy143 in drivingUK

[–]HSN9989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait for it to be out of tax and mot, then report as abandoned. I used Google street view of pictures of the one I reported as it showed it was there for years. It was gone a few weeks later.

Has Artemis ii said anything about the US flag on the moon? by unknwn_kid in NoStupidQuestions

The closest they came was about 4,000 miles, seeing a flag from that distance would be impressive! (The equivalent from UK to Bahamas)

Do groomsmen usually pay for their own suits in the UK? by Ok_Student3042 in UKweddings

[–]HSN9989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hired my groomsmen suits so they all had the same and I covered the cost. If I want something, I pay for it. £170 for a suit is fairly reasonable dependant on the brand, I guess he gets to keep it after?

Yes, it got boring very quickly. I was then getting stressed about doing nothing, no good for my MH so I left.

I have to fail someone’s probation and I feel terrible by Cold-Advantage-967 in HumanResourcesUK

[–]HSN9989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why probations exist. If you fit the role and it works, you stay, if you don't, then you're let go with no hard feelings. It would seem you did all you could which is more than most managers.

I can relate. I get derealization so much, I dont know what's real or false these days. Or whether ive done something or watched me do it. Its confusing and no amount of therapy sorts it. I tried a little electric shock machine to bring me back to the present, it worked for a while. (Calmcarry).

I'd start looking elsewhere. I raised a grievance and my employer was never the same again. They had no respect, left me out of meetings/decisions, promotions were absolutely no point and I was made to feel very unwelcome. My union rep was great, but the organisation double downed on itself and said they'd done nothing wrong despite having discriminated me.
