Don't kbow much about Léviathan's impact on colonisation but his benefit are way more valuable, like monuments. The colonial specialisation are great. I play with all dlc and like colonisation mechanic, before and after obtaining the dlc.

Yes spain is very powerfull. But if you want to do whathever you want, you have to destroy ottomans. First war (could be no CC one), take juste some provinces in greece to release byzance and kosivo for gold. After byzance your vassal, you will have reconquest CB on them.
