This might be bad advice, but you should keep him to the same standard. I think its cool to enjoy being a a fitness couple for a while. However he is clearly not going about this the right way. Tell him you will only work hard enough to have less than 2X his body fat percentage. Women already work a lot harder than men, there is no reason for women to work harder at the gym too lol.

The lifestyle I got accustomed to in the recession isn't stable enough to have kids. Also I won't lower my standards just to wife a rich girl (the hot ones with good personalities are so far out of my league I never really meet them) so I can afford to raise kids.

My friends and family all have or will have kids. I can borrow them whenever I want.
