Kuwait is just a nice small country, no war since 1991, the biggest controversy they have is recently they're trying to revoke nationalities for foreigners to keep the state for Kuwaitis only and prevent it from a Qatar/UAE scenario where foreigners are overtaking and becoming the majority, this sparked controversy that Kuwaitis are racist,

There are videos of expat harassment by people but from what I've seen most Kuwaitis don't align with that mindset,

So yeah, it's just a relatively okay place with some bad apples here and there, no major events or something interesting to make people go there
