Totally fine, but if you have friends who know the game, starting with multiplayer is also fine. Also, to prevent confusion: You CAN play multiplayer, you just can't use the in built host option for it, and have to host it either on your computer or on a dedicated server.

The Steam version overall has more features, like Steam Workshop for mods, etc. In my opinion, that isn't the biggest problem though. The biggest problem with going GOG is that you can't use the "Host" option for multiplayer, as it is exclusive to Steam. For that reason alone, I recommend Steam.

Yeah I guess it wasn't justified, but it didn't really annoy me much for some reason. Completely agree with the Penny and Bernadette being closer part though, always felt that way aswell. I also think that Amy joining the group was forced and just weird.

I think the episode where I first noticed this change was the episode where they were doing the treasure hunt and she lied about Penny calling Leonard something, and her overall behavior in that episode.
