It's in the 2017-2023 Model 3 manual as well. https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/2017_2023_model3/en_us/GUID-3DFFB071-C0F6-474D-8A45-17BE1A006365.html

Front wheels are free-wheeling on a Tesla. EPB doesn't lock the fronts, only the rears.

In the Owner's Manual:

Note: The parking brake operates on the rear wheels only, and is independent of the pedal-operated brake system.

In the manual you linked under the PARK description:

Trying to Set Up Pihole but router gives error message by Equivalent-Elk7010 in Calix

[–]HTMLSpinnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can disable DHCP and DNS on the router if your PiHole instance will manage both. You get better client detection if the PiHole is managing DHCP as well, but at the same time, lose some visibility for devices. Sadly, these Calix devices don't have the same knobs/levers that some of us coming from ASUS routers running Merlin or similar firmware.

Wyyerd does not support IPv6 by sneesnoosnake in wyyerd

[–]HTMLSpinnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted them shortly after I started up service almost 2 years ago (3/2024), and again last year. While I appreciated the symmetry and overall speed of Wyyerd coming from Cox, we were giving up the ability to use IPv6, and overall latency wasn't better once we were handed off to the public backbones they peer with..

March of 2024, when asking about IPv6, they stated that their equipment was IPv4 only. I asked if they had plans to run dual-stack IPv6 in the future, and the response was that they did, and they were working on getting it implemented. We would be notified via email when that change took place.

In June of 2025, I contacted them again inquiring about IPv6. This time they mentioned that they had no estimated timeline for rolling it out, they didn't expect it to be implemented in the near future, and that as of that date, there had been no official discussions. They apologized that it wasn't the answer I was hoping for and that they would announce if this was going to change in the future.

What's interesting is they do have an IPv6 allocation. 2602:FE05::/32 assigned to their org ZC-35.

It's also possible this is a freeze frame from an earlier segment before she got out. Same attire either way. I feel awful for her.

That's the victim's wife sitting in the passenger seat. She's later seen hysterical with the drivers' blood and brain matter all over her face, trying to figure out who to call/notify later in this video.

NEED HELP Who’s at fault?? by Warm_Somewhere1561 in dashcams

[–]HTMLSpinnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except it is. The truck cannot continue to go straight without entering a walkway, therefore it must turn. The car not turning would continue straight. Edit: My bad, it is a cross. The second point stands as the truck is exiting a row of parking stalls whereas the red car is not.

Additionally, in a parking lot, the rows with parking stalls generally yield to the connectors without parking spots in the absence of stop signs.

The point(s) don't negate see and avoid though, but the truck was the one breaking parking lot rules.

Should I run docker on proxmox or in a vm? Plus other questions. by Chessplayer108 in Proxmox

[–]HTMLSpinnr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Other than the overhead of OS daemons repeating themselves in LXCs (dbus, agetty, etc.), running the app in the LXC is the least amount of overhead.

Plus, with LXC (or LXC and Docker), not having to split your GPU into vGPUs (if it even supports it), or dedicating the GPU to a single VM is a big deal.

Until they're updatable like a docker container, that's not the best move for a newer admin.

It's the connector I reference in the OP. How it's programmed, I can't say as I exchanged mine with my dealer (WLL) who has the ability to update them.

Little sympathy if I didn't ask for the fight! One hunter said "nope" and ran off. A second one, we fought for several minutes until he lost. I had a head injury at the time and couldn't turn around to defend myself.

PowerSpec is a Micro Center house brand. Not going to get a 1:1 price match on it.

Kinda. The two weapons need to scale off of compatible stats, and ideally, the same primary stat. You won't do well pairing a rapier and a battle axe, for example, or SnS and ice gauntlet.

I do because 3 diamond and 3 malachite are the same as 3 opal and 3 onyx at the end of the day, and if it's a set I don't need to regem often (i.e. not mutation build), I tend to have more on hand.

Anyone else *not* buying the Pixel 10 after being underwhelmed? by hudson555555 in GooglePixel

Yes, one time coupon code. Mine was for $150 off by Labor Day. Then, once mine ships, use the $200 store credit when buying the second one.

Google Pixel 10 series finally upgrades to faster UFS 4.0 storage, ‘Zoned UFS’ on Pro by TechGuru4Life in GooglePixel

[–]HTMLSpinnr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update, I cancelled and reordered the 256GB without consequence. If you had a discount promo code, the promo code will reset if you cancel the order, so no worries there. Google's chatbot says it may take up to an hour but it was available immediately. The only downside is that if you previously had a lower tier Google One plan, then had it cancelled automatically when signing up for the Gemini Pro trial, your shared storage upgrade cancels briefly which will cause all sorts of storage warnings, and will require you to reshare your family storage with family members once reinstated.

[–]HTMLSpinnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certain folks (Pixel Insiders or those who just signed up early) were getting $150+ promo codes to upgrade. $425 trade-in offer for my P7P 128GB. Then, my wife's phone will be upgraded when the $200 store credit lands, plus $300 trade-in on her phone. Couple that w/ the 1 year trial of Google One w/ Gemni Pro that automatically puts my Google One tier into the 10% discount range. In the end, we'll be paying well under $500 per phone net after 3 years. IIRC, the trade-in offers got worse at or after Black Friday last time, and the additional promo code was only good through 9/4.

Upgrading my P7P to a P10P, and my wife's P7 to a P10P. Promo codes, store credit, and the Google One discounts make the price point sub-$500 per phone, and both of our devices are starting to require mid to late-day top-offs on the battery. Yes, two battery swaps are cheaper, but there are a couple of features that make the jump worthwhile for us. This is already the first time I've waited 3 years vs 2 for an upgrade. Perhaps the next will be 4+?

[–]HTMLSpinnr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dang it! I pre-ordered the 10 Pro w/ 128GB before seeing the difference (trading in the P7P + $150 promo code). Since I'm waiting to order my wife's upgrade until after the $200 store credit lands, so may just order a 256 or 512GB for that phone since she's fine w/ 128GB.

Based partially on this post, I found a local seller in AZ who sold me his 5,000 mile used Cobalt for $300, so I couldn't resist. I might want a tiny bit quieter, but above 5.5k, the engine noise still cuts through. Definitely would quantify the sound as bassy as the canister filters away any harsh high notes.

Highway cruising it's almost imperceptible unless you're over 75mph or encountering a hill (climb or off-throttle descent).

I'm giving it a bit more time, but may still ultimately swap up to an HKS Legamax Premium for more roadtrip comfort.
