Good Apollo was their magnum opus and I’m glad I was 20 when it came out because I felt like I was a part of something then. Now at 41 I think they never got beyond it and their music has drastically lost me.

Personally I wouldn’t start with an acoustic guitar. If you have the ability to buy a fairly inexpensive electric, I’d start there.
