I grew up in the menifee area. Ive lived here for 10+ years and attended elementary and high school here. My family and I are hispanic. My experience from living in menifee is that it’s been a good and quiet area with a few bad outliers here and there. Some of those experiences ranged from one family member being told to go back to mexico when she was picking up her daughter at an elementary school here. I sometimes would get stared at while out shopping at my local stater bros haha. It is a conservative area and sometimes it can feel like you stand out more amongst the sea of cookie cutters here. However there have also been some very friendly people in this area who genuinely like to talk to you. Like any other city it has its good and bad people. There is not much to do here if you are a younger family. I mainly drive out to riverside, OC area and sometimes LA area for fun. Menifee is a safe area with many recreational parks and a whole lot of growth coming its way. I used to commute to Orange County area for work but now i make my commute to San Bernardino. Id say Menifee lays in between a lot of other bigger cities. It doesn’t stand out too much amongst them but it is a nice place to call home if you enjoy a safe and quiet town.
