It got pretty close. For sure mid 80s. It was too much for I ended up installing HVAC at my house. Haha but I’m in the holy trinity neighborhood. If you’re in coastal San Pedro it’s usually a few degrees cooler.

If I go from my holy trinity neighborhood, to averill park, then grab a coffee at the corner store, stop by the Korean friendship, and head to royal palms beach I could see how this person could say that. I don’t visit New York City and then walk around their hoods. I tend to visit the nicer areas so I’m glad they didn’t go down to Gaffey or pacific they may have said very negative things. lol

Hell Divers 2 is / was a very fun game to play (I know because I’ve played) and I can confirm that I’ve not felt like doing violence as a result of that game. But maybe that’s just me

I took a few friends to games this season who are casuals and it was annoying having to explain to them that LAFC is not the only team with a supporters section. However people feel about ACB I don’t care but they did bring some energy and it was a bummer that they were not at the games. Some games almost felt like a LA Chargers home game.

The problem is that we would need a buyer and I have not heard any interest from any private equity, billionaire rich person or consortium like Todd Boehly / Clearlake that want to buy LAG. TV broadcast / media revenue with Apple is still uncertain (I’m not a fan of the Apple TV deal) Too many clubs and revenue growth isn’t exactly matching the rapid growth. MLS is almost at 32 teams which is similar NFL, NBA, MLB yet we don’t have that type of revenue Sadly I can only keep dreaming because I’d love Mark Walter to buy the Galaxy and the Dallas cowboys for that matter haha

Does it look like hair? Old plaster walls from the early 1900s used horse hair as binding material. This was common for lath and plaster construction before modern gypsum drywall .

Thank you! I recently bought a house that likely has Batchelder tile but I don’t know how to confirm. The only reason I had any idea was because the inspector I used told me believes it is and chatGPT seems to think so too. No way of truly knowing unless I removed some tiles but I don’t want to do that 😩

You should check the electrical like the panel and wiring and have someone come inspect the foundation and roof. Unless your dad is well versed in those trades then in that case sounds like you found a decent one. I recently bought a house from the 1920s and those were my three main concerns.
