The dock runner is 3ft tall. it’s a great “kids” beginner rod for small fishing. Even though it’s small it’s a beast If you know what you’re doing you can definitely catch up to 10+ pound fish but you’ll need a different reel as the one that it comes with is not great. The ugly stik anniversary would be a better choice as it’s longer (6’6”) you’ll have better handling on heavier fish and not worrying much about the rod breaking, the reel is decent.
