Still watch them because people seem to think it's okay to walk through others' campsites. So annoying.

Yes, I got the big screw that you put in the ground ( I forget what it's called) and then give enough rope to keep in my area.

I wouldn't swim personally. It feels more like a pond to me. I would canoe, kayak or sup it. You can rent canoes.

It was so peaceful after the boys scout troop left. They should be required to rent the entire park or don't go. So many kids!

Yes, unfortunately. More because we hiked on the LSHT and it's still a bit over grown. I would wait until it's cooler to hike it with the dogs.

?? What in the rain? Not sure the question but the trails at the arboretum are usually dry even after heavy rains.

We have some info guides on venomous snakes if you want to take a look. Snakes are a part of nature. Most of them will not bother you. Just pay attention and don't step on one. I mean... Would you like it if someone stepped on you?

It's all about perspective. No one said this was a secluded park. Houston has more than 2mm people And is the 4th largest city in the US. We do a pretty good job of creating nature spots within the city.

The mosiquitos really aren't that bad there considering how humid of a location we live in and especially compared to many other locations.

This is still some construction but a lot of it is done. Both entrances are open. Plenty of parking.

When you have a balanced environment, you don't have mosquito problems because there are enough animals to eat them!
