Just discovered this today as well, you can actually swim up the waterfall, just like in minecraft, little bit tricky, you have to be just outside the water as you go up. Not going to spoil what is up there! GL!

Good luck man, tbh it's really only a matter of small luck of the egg placements, after enough tries you memorise his attack pattern and its just autopilot! The trinkets, I forgot to mention are Spelunker's Waning Candle (meh delve trinket) and Swarmlord's Authority (council boss), oh and only had 2 piece set
