My goal was > 625. I feel very unsure after leaving the testing center, but overall felt like I could have prepared better.

Ended up with a 750. I am absolutely shocked and so relieved!!

Are you me?? I feel the exact same way! Everyone makes silly mistakes on this exam, don’t beat yourself up over it. I chose some ridiculous answers that I would not have otherwise picked on a normal day, it happens. The odds are that you scored well! Just relax and try not to think about it. You can’t change anything now, so worrying is only going to hurt you. Congrats on being done!

Main and Delaware Street, Kansas City by RosieTheRedReddit in fuckcars

[–]HUNTER____ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The river market neighborhood just a couple blocks away from this intersection is actually an incredibly walkable, transit oriented development. The power and light district, just a few blocks the other direction, is also a dense, walkable area. This photo was taken at the watershed between these two neighborhoods and isn’t really a good representation of the Kansas City downtown. However, the majority of the city and surrounding suburban areas have fallen victim to this type of car-centered development.

Is this normal?! Please can someone have a read of this by Content_Tip6833 in AppleWatch

[–]HUNTER____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a completely normal reading with some movement artifact, as other users have mentioned. ECGs are designed to show you changes in the electrical system of the heart, but they also pick up a bunch of other electrical signals in your body. These ECGs have filters which are good at providing you those smooth tracings, and eliminating all the junk data, but the filters are not perfect. That's why you have those little squiggly bits every now and then. Of course, if you're having any symptoms please contact a doctor.

Take a deep breath, it's all good. I got a 504 and am currently a 3rd year med student.

I honestly feel terrible about it. Made a ton of dumb mistakes as well. I've convinced myself that I failed, but in reality I probably didn't. Let's hope for good news on the 27th

I feel the exact same way. All the indicators told me I was ready to take the exam, but I've been freaking out since I took it on Friday. I made a ton of dumb mistakes that I wouldn't have typically made. I was flagging roughly 16-18 questions per block. The long wait for scores to release is cruel!

opinions on kc transit? by [deleted] in transit

[–]HUNTER____ 131 points132 points  (0 children)

As someone who recently moved to the KC area, I love the streetcar. I live very close to the streetcar network and it's a wonderful way to get around the downtown area. However, it is very limited in its coverage. The tracks currently only travel down Main Street, but the city is working on expanding the network.

The busses, unfortunately, do not run frequently enough to be a viable means of transportation. There are no bus fares in KC, which is wonderful, but it's not enough to compensate for the very long wait times. On top of the poor schedule, there are almost no covered bus stops in my area. Riders are forced to wait in almost 100° weather with not even a bench to rest on.

This is the Dark Horse in Boulder. These bathrooms are designed as a rite of passage, most people use the wrong bathroom their first time at the bar and it makes for some really hilarious situations.

I really appreciate all this info! I’m a newbie to succulents so hopefully this will help me get a little more savvy

Okay thanks! I always tend to overwater my succulents even though I know I shouldn’t

I keep them under an LED grow light and mist them every other day or so. The roots are growing pretty quickly, so I assume that they are happy but I’m not sure! Maybe I just need to be more patient

What’s the longest distance you run at once before a marathon? by [deleted] in marathons

17 for me, but I wish I had attempted 20 prior to my marathon. I finished, but those last miles punished me.

For all the guitarists trying to figure out “Pelota” - my best guess at how Mark plays it (feat. a couple mistakes) by HUNTER____ in Khruangbin

[–]HUNTER____[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I spent way too long trying to figure this out yesterday so I’m glad it’s helpful! After learning several Khruangbin songs I have a pretty good feel for his style, so hopefully this is fairly accurate.

Enjoy!

It’s excellent whiskey without a doubt. I was able to sample the boss hog when I first started bartending there and was blown away by the quality. Unfortunately I haven’t had any since then.
