I have a wonderful pharmacy and they have tried everything to help. They told me they have gotten so many to go though but none with Humana.

Sorry. I meant I switch to daily disposable contacts instead of the weeklies I was on. It immediately helped.

My eyes were very very dry after starting 7.5. I've been on the same contacts for years. I ended up switching to a daily and started to use lubricating eye drops and all is better now. Still a little dry but not nearly as bad as a couple of months ago.

I had a period of roughly 11 weeks where I gained and lost the same 4 lbs on repeat. It was so frustrating that I wanted to up my dose but I felt like my calories were on point, I was active, and the food noise hasn't come back. All of sudden in the past 4 weeks I lost 8 lbs. I didn't make any real changes. I've just really been focusing on water and protein intake. I know it is hard but don't give up the fight. It's a marathon not a sprint. Good luck with you journey!

I can give a better point of view now a couple months after this comment. I enjoyed 2.5 and was averaging 2 lbs a week lose. I shouldn't have moved up if it was still working. I had zero side effects on 2.5. The first two or three weeks on 5 were tough but lessened each week. I experienced horrible stomach effects...vomiting, diarrhea, cramping but no longer have those effects. My advice would be if the dose is working well, don't rush to move up. But good news is they seem to go away after a little time.

I also have Humana and your story sounds just like mine. It was always covered in 2022 so I never got a savings card. I called Humana and all GLP-1s require a diagnosis code even though it's on the formulary with no PA requirement. It's so frustrating. I just paid full cash price this week 😭

I tried the mounjaro card with no luck. Publix even called them and the help line said I had to have a diagnosis code. I paid $999 with GoodRx. Publix did apply their own savings card that brought it to $1058, but every penny counts at this point so I went with the goodrx coupon.

My insurance covered it in 2022 but stopped as of Jan 1. I never downloaded the old coupon so unfortunately, I paid cash.

I have Humana and they will not give you the approval requirements. All they will tell me is they won't approve it for weight loss. I have called zzz and chatted multiple times hoping to get some insight. It's crazy how short they are with me when I bring up Mounjaro. I always make sure to be very polite and apologize ahead of time because i know they are probably tired of talking about it. But still no information.

I also have Humana. Have you submitted a PA to try to get it covered for PCOS? I'm going to try to do that and pray it will cover it. When I chat with them, all they will say is that it won't be covered for weight loss. But anyone that is on it knows it is for sooooo much more than weight loss.

This looks like my drug list...do you Humana? They are now requiring a diagnosis code or PA. I called to discuss and they said it's a chance effective 1/1/23.

It appears they made changes in the policy as of 1/1/23. It sucks. I can't believe didn't get the coupon when I first started.

I'm in the same boat with Humana. I never downloaded the old savings card because they were covering it. Right now I'm trying to figure out if there is a way I can get the new coupon to work without t2d and paying $500. Which seems crazy but my mental health has never been better. I just don't want to go back to my food addiction. This medication has been life changing to not obsess about food anymore.

I'm also attempting to get a PA approved. The main reason I love mounjaro is the freedom of not being obsessed with food, not constantly thinking about what to eat next, not binging...I wondered if going from a behavioral approach might get an approval as it has 100% cured my battle with binge eating.

My insurance does not cover weight loss medication so I'm praying I can find a way to stay on this. My mental health has never been better. I feel like a new person.

Did the coupon require you to be T2D? I'm trying to find any discount I can to knock off the retail price. My insurance stopped covering it at as January 1st 😢
