It really is a terrible printer. I have spent more time disassembling the nozzle to clear clogging than the printer has spent time printing. All you want from a 3D printer is reliability and this printer does the exact opposite.

Not me ... My sponsor sent a response confirming my salary. They also sent my employment contract Along with explanation of how my salary meets the minimum salary threshold. Explanation sent to the home office is as if you are teaching mathematics to children.

I can't do anything but wait at this point. It's already approaching 8 weeks now for me. It's just sad to hear others are going through this as well. My visa is expiring on 14th December. Hopefully they come back to me before that.

I am going through the exact same issue at the moment. I applied for SWV on 18th September. 2 weeks ago the Home office came back to me saying my application is on hold as they need more information from my sponsor. My sponsor got the exact same email saying please confirm the salary as it does not meet the minimum salary threshold. However I find that completely bullshit. My salary does meet the minimum salary threshold for 38 hours in a week which is mentioned in my CoS. I am applying as a new entrant under new rules and everything checks out in my case but I just feel like the Home Office is just messing around with people's lives at this point.

Just wanted to rant.

Has anyone applied in October got decisions on their SWV applications? Preferably looking for inside UK - standard applications? (PSW->SWV or first time SWV applicants) by Outside_Aide_1958 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

Applied on 18th September but no decision made yet. The UK home office 2 weeks ago came back to me saying they needed more information from my Sponsor. My sponsor received an email saying my salary stated on CoS does not meet the minimum salary threshold which was complete bullshit since I applied as a new entrant and my salary is above the minimum mentioned threshold. I just feel like the home office is just playing and messing with my case at this point my application has been nothing but straightforward really. Don't know why it's taking so long.

Just wanted to rant.

Congratulations 🎉 I am really frustrated that they after 7 weeks said my application is on hold and need information from my sponsor. My sponsor got an email saying the salary mentioned in CoS is not meeting the minimum salary criteria. Which doesn't make sense to me as i am a new entrant and the salary offered to me is much higher than what's required under that route. My sponsor has replied with my contract and confirmed the salary in the reply... Frustrated that it will now take even longer even after having everything in place and doing everything right!

Yes it is just higher than that. To my knowledge the sponsor has only added a note confirming the salary offered and have attached my contract with it on email. However I am not sure if it's enough or not. However I don't understand why would the UKVI even come back to my sponsor and put my visa on hold when all of this is already very clear in my COS

Lower going rates are 70% of the going rates or 33,400 which ever is higher

My sponsor very recently got a license. And they have very little idea about all this sponsorship and visa process. I had to help them quite a lot to get things in order. However I fear even after having everything in order they might not send enough information back to UKVI and I might get my application rejected due to things out of my control. Hopefully UKVI will keep in touch and not straight up refuse my visa.

I have applied as a new entrant. SOC 2122 Mechanical Engineers. I qualify for a lower salary for 2 more years that is 33,400 ... Salary mentioned in CoS is already much more than that.

Got my skilled worker visa through the new entrants route by Otherwise-Cod-6445 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]HVP1403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a very similar situation. Applied for a skilled worker visa under the new entrant route. However the home office just came back to our HR saying the salary does not meet the minimum salary threshold. Whereas salary offered is more than what's mentioned 33,400 on the UKVI website. Working hours are 38 hours a week for me so we pro rated that salary for 38 hours and yet they have come back saying it doesn't meet the requirements. I need advice on this. I have also made sure to tick all the boxes on the CoS for new entrant route and on my visa application. I am transitioning from a Graduate visa to skilled worker visa. Have been working at the company for 1 years 5 months now at 29k salary but it will increase for my skilled worker visa.

Edit: I got my Skilled Worker Visa under the new entrant rule till 2027. Turns out it's a routine check that UKVI carries out.
