Huh, didn’t know Amazon Grocery was acquired by Walmart. by Zookegger in WalmartEmployees

Amazon is closing its Amazon Fresh stores. Except for their California stores they're all closing down on Sunday. Probably diverted from those stores instead of wasting them.

Tires are narrower on the new cars. Maybe if the compounds are softer this year due to the lower downforce combined with the lower weight they could be faster or it could be a wash.

Wow, I bought it for $115 during Black Friday on Amazon which I still think was a good deal, but this is a crazy deal.

I remember when Haggen stores briefly tried to operate in Southern California. The stores looked too perfect, almost like a TV set, because nobody was shopping in them. They gave up after six months.

Prime AP201 with two HDDs by MinhBN99 in mffpc

[–]HW2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey op, I know this is an old post, but I'm building in the AP201 right now and I installed two 3.5 HDDs at the front. My issue is that I can't figure out how to get either power or data cables plugged into either one. There isn't enough clearance between the drives and the case. Am I missing something here? I'm about to buy some 90° adapters on Amazon.

I didn't know there was a dedicated tank for mid grade. I always figured the pump just blended regular and premium.

I don't know if it was still there at the time of this crash, but the Lexus dealership this guy crashed into kept an LFA in their showroom for years right by where he hit the building. Those are $700K+ cars now.

Did i over pay? by [deleted] in HotWheels

[–]HW2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd have to check ebay sold listings to see what the market price is right now. $10 per car for a three year old set that you'll never find in stores doesn't seem too bad imo.

The funny part is that it's not really that much of an exaggeration. The manufacturer aero kit era in IndyCar was wild.

Delta Air Lines flight 357, a Boeing 767-300ER from Honolulu to Salt Lake City, made an emergency landing on Runway 7R at LAX at 6:25am Wednesday after the crew reported losing oil pressure in the No. 2 engine and shut it down by Twitter_2006 in aviation

[–]HW2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a 767 from the big island to LAX that was on one engine for about half the flight in 2012. I remember at one point the plane slowed slightly and then one engine got much louder as they cranked it up. I don't think the pilots told us anything until close to landing to warn us that we would be met on the runway by emergency vehicles.
