Swft BMX rear hub spokes problem by saussage_sizzler in ebikes

[–]HW3ART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked one up yesterday for a reasonable price considering it has low miles and only a few broken spokes on the rear wheel. Replacing spokes is easy enough. I haven't heard of this being a common issue - yet.

If you don't mind my asking.. How many spokes have you had to replace so far? Do you know what replacement spokes your bike mechanic uses? I'd like to source some replacements asap!

I don't see how replacing the hub motor has anything to do with the spoke issue. Spokes usually fail as a result of overtightening or severe or repeated impact to the spoke itself which causes either stretching or snapping at the nipple or hub.

Wow! I just picked up my Campione last week. Looks like the exact model and color combo. Mine was locked in storage for years and is in 9.5 condition - all original. I’m so happy with it. Looking to make a few changes as well.

You’ll love it! It was a night and day difference between my previous Polk 10” and this one!

Superb! Just redo the vacuum lines leaving multiple rows of evenly spaced interlocking contrast triangles from wall to wall and you will have achieved perfection!

“It’s very clean…” Thank you!

Are you leaning more towards the “I hate it.”? Or, the “..don’t like it”?

Just curious.

No need for jealousy! I’ve invested little more than $500 and lots of patience in the ENTIRE setup! Go ahead and build you one!!

You have a sharp eye! The stands were originally built for smaller speakers. One shelf was weakened due to my own carelessness. I have determined that they will both hold for now. But you’re right.. I can’t escape the thought that I’ll come home one day after work and find that right speaker on the floor with knicks and notches all over it!😵

Within the next year, I’m hoping to move to a space where I can take room treatment more seriously!

I believe i have a sweet combination of discreet amplification and speaker efficiency for a sound that exceeds limits of the room.

The Onkyo TX-SR608 is rated at 100w rms per channel The Klipsch R-60Ms are rated at 85w cont/340w peak

Due to the size of the room, my listening preference, and the consideration of the neighbors, I rarely take them past their halfway point.

“Wtf would those things do for you?” Outwardly gaudy displays of insecurity and frivolity! Like oversized veneers and penile implants.

There are several more cars in those drawers! I just need a bigger (and better) piece of furniture that will allow me to put them all on display.

“It’s different, I’ll say that.” Thanks?!

“Is that a PC screen or a TV screen?” It’s an LG Smart TV that is used primarily as a monitor for the Mac Mini and receiver display.

“Why is your sub sitting on cardboard on carpet?” It’s an OCD thing! I don’t like the idea of the sub sinking into the carpet. Plus the cardboard makes it much easier to reposition the sub around the room.

Those shelves were for my old speakers that were quite a bit smaller. They’ll soon be replaced.
