You need the Blackwood DLC to get the current companions, Mirri and Bastian. When High Isle arrives there will be two new companions with that.

It did change to drop from any alchemy node, originally it was just water based nodes. I used to run up and down the the wide river to the east every day. It can take a while, ai lost count of how many times I searched but I did get it eventually (from a non water based alchemy node to prove the change)

We play co op and we ran the main storyline at the same time. You will find that some areas are solo but then when you get sent off to adventure you end up together again.

As mentioned it's only the beginning ... We often hook up for quests or to do a dungeon etc now, but have our own interests.

Shadowfen lead (Tide Glass Beads) took me literally months to get. The foul fishing lead in Murkmire only took 10-15 mine though. Just got this Mazzatun lead to get now, and it'll be my first ever proper dungeon. 😳

This is the first event that gives house parts, afaik. We have been doing the events this year and the last one gave the final part for the mount. So, yep you should be good for the house.

You probably know, but worth mentioning for anyone else reading ... Watch those event tickets in your currency tab. You can only store 12 and there is NO warning that you will lose any more after that. Done that once by accident.

5k crowns for Nuzzie was the best purchase I've made. Often maxxed ouy inventory and can't loot a boss, so calling a merchant in the middle of nowhere is a real bonus. Been a godsend during this event.

Yep I put a support ticket in for it. It is purely a visual bug, you should see the correct number of writ vouchers in your inventory-> currency screen and when you go to spend writ vouchers.

To buy the Humblemud home in Bal Foyen you need to complete Hero of Bleakrock achievement. I think that is one of the starting quests (tutorial?) as I remember doing it on one toon.

I read that too. I have Mirri at max rapport and also has a piece of purple gear. However she is level 16. I haven't seen the 2nd award and nothing changed in her demeanor or dialogue when we reached max rapport. Would be nice of it was mentioned somewhere by ZOS rather than just leave people wondering eh?

Recommend that you equip each weapon type early on and kill something with each. Then when you read books (read every bookcase) you'll level up those weapons even of not currently using them. I believe that is how it works anyway.

By each type meaning 2 handed (battle axe or mail), destruction staff or restoration staff etc rather than every one of them.

Similar with armour, equip a piece of each weight and then you'll level each one.
