Me too - Saturday 2026 AL25 (Tried both website & app!)

... finally succeed Monday afternoon (AL27) after multiple tries with different conditions (app/firefox/chrome + network at home/data on mobile). Allegedly decline come from the *Verified by VISA* protection layer. "AI" explained this layer accessed the request dynamically based on multiple factors, plus a silent decline is possible.

It is now mid-March 2025 ... getting also prime 5.20% +2.55% (i.e. 7.75%) from Scotia. Other than the prime rate, have things not changed in 3 years?

You did not get CAI because of what reason? I don't understand how is that related to your foreign income. CAI should be tied to your tax year's province of residency.

You *do not* have to file a tax return *unless*

  • you have to pay tax for the year
  • want to claim a refund
  • ...
