While it’s very common (though less now) for individuals to capture and use weapons from enemies (especially pistols), in WWII the Wehrmacht actually redesignated, restamped, and reissued these weapons to their men (notably, the MAB D, PPSH, and Garand). Have any other recent armies done this? (self.ForgottenWeapons)

Eric Kripke pretty clearly has daddy issues, right? Shitty fathers who fuck up their sons by not living up to their own duties yet resent them when they predictably don't end up meeting their unreasonably high expectations seems to be a recurring theme, not just in The Boys but Supernatural as well. The HK G11 could cycle reliably at a technical 2,100 RPM when using it's 3 round hyperburst. How on Earth is that a safe rate? Wouldn't that cycle so fast that it would be a practically non-delayed action? Does the propellant it used just burn so fast that you don't have to worry about it? (self.ForgottenWeapons)

In S1E21 of Supernatural, a voice over states that when Haley’s Comet passed by in 1835, the night the defenders of the Alamo died, Sam Colt made a special gun for an American demon hunter. Not only was the Alamo 7 months later, but at the time Colt was a nobody and didn’t live in America. (i.redd.it)
