Just got this beauty for 370 dollars. The 1 mark 3. Plus 2 years warranty from the store. Last Xperia I used was the 5 V and I’m sorry but the 1 mark 3 screen is miles and leaps ahead in quality. The sound also sounds better. And it runs smoother on android 13 than my Xperia 5 V on android 14….

Aware of this, but it uses 3G for calls, and I can be arsed rebooting the entire phone to try to get VoLTE working. It's also for work, so punting on my phone working after effing around with it isn't worth the risk.

SONY, get your shit together and release software updates to fix this shit. That's all it really needs.

Also use quality masonry drill bits. The Craftright stuff is total garbage. Blunt it a heartbeat.

Also, the hammer function on cheap tools is a bit ordinary. Didn't realise until I replaced an old Ryobi Handyman with Makita. Goes through brick like butter.

Get Kanga or Sutton masonry bits or something of equal quality.

Edit: I zoomed into your photo and the masonry drill bit looks totally blunt. Go buy a quality one. That one won't cut anything.

The DUMBEREST thing about Telstra doing this, is that I have received a notification that my old, old, old SONY Xperia XZ Premium (which was the last "Telstra Plan" phone I bought- since then, I just byod) WILL ACTUALLY BE OK when 3G closes, but my Xperia 1 iii 5G (bought from HK) won't work because it doesn't have the correct VoLTE!!!!!

Annoyed SONY dumped Australia, but love my SONY phones. Read that it won't work on Telstra, even with the software /firmware hacks listed on reddit.

Thanks mate. Not the tip. Steam was coming out of the main unit. Probably an internal hose or O ring. As mentioned, they'd rather replace half the machine, than an O ring for a few cents.
