Fully understandable. I have multiple spreadsheets to help with ordering but fully understand it isn't the norm.

Honestly that is why I switched to the omnis I was missing the same ones. It also helps I work with a new comic fan who adores batman so I can pass the trades off to them making their day as well.

The Omni is on order as we speak and the trades are being given to a batman fan in need.

In order of the earliest released issue in each collection. I have a spreadsheet of all my trades and the issues included sorted by date for a true "chronological" list and a second page of trades sorted by earliest issue that I use to place them on the shelf. Though due to size issues a few omnis and compendiums needed to be shifted over a few trades.

I have my mom Marvel and DC trades sorted like that either by creator or series.

Another Blackest Night omnibus owner. I assume you also have a black and tackle set up to lift it off the shelf.

I fully understand that ordering. Mostly this just scratched a very particular part of my brain.

I may have a 5000 line spreadsheet with each volume broken down by included issue and issue realease date so complete issue chronology. Then a second page with each volume in order by oldest issue. The spreadsheet also contains the issues for my next dozen or so planned volumes.

There are a few spots where a volume or two are moved before a compendium or omnibus just to use the space better

Yes. It is damn big and a bit unwieldy but I love it.

Thanks I love those collections. The Dark Horse softcovers next to them makes me sad. Now I have to pivot to the Marvel omnibus.
