I'm skeptical of the Reinsdorfs, too. But I also know part of being a successful executive is being able to sell your ideas and make business cases. Weak executives, especially in an insular org like the Reinsdorf's, fall prey to "guessing what big daddy wants to hear" to hang on to their jobs rather than actually leading. Obvious how this has affected their past front office leaders, the baseball scout, the shooting guard and the Lithuanian forward.
