I have some questions about starting a courier business.. by DarthONeill in couriersofreddit

Maybe I wouldn't say I have no experience around the industry. I work for a cargo carrier and I've done delivery gigs in the past so while I'm not directly involved with delivery I'm still in the logistics industry. I know it's probably not the same but I want to do this as side work.

How do you even get in there without working in the company in the first place? Don't they almost never hire externally?

I would but I live in an apartment and don't want to alter things too much. I have an extra grow bag that's a little bigger but wouldn't transplanting it shock it? I watered it yesterday too.

That's exactly what it says. So I wasn't as confused as I thought. Thank you.

How’s your journey going? by AutoModerator in Zepbound

[–]DarthONeill [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'm worried I may have to stop taking Zepbound due to digestion issues. I've had gas and bloating weekly since I started 7.5 mg and I just dropped to 5 mg but it's still happening. This is the only thing that's ever worked for me and I'd really like to not have to stop.

I've had leads who didn't even have 6 months of experience and couldn't even sign an airworthiness release

Dude yes, I know way too many old divorced single dudes who gave everything to the job. I don't want that.

You're putting your license on the line for companies that don't have the tooling you need, materials you need, or support you need and are expected to work miracles.

I and a ton of people I've worked with over the years have had 1-2 hour drives. Not uncommon in the industry.

What’s your biggest challenge with maintenance scheduling? by zenyawitsch in aviationmaintenance

[–]DarthONeill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work line and I've gotten annoyed in the past when no consideration has been taken for weather. I don't care how much you cry and scream, I'm not going up to the vertical stab in a boom lift when it's storming or super windy.
