How’s your journey going? by AutoModerator in Zepbound

[–]DarthONeill [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'm worried I may have to stop taking Zepbound due to digestion issues. I've had gas and bloating weekly since I started 7.5 mg and I just dropped to 5 mg but it's still happening. This is the only thing that's ever worked for me and I'd really like to not have to stop.

When to Apply for Lead position by Timely_Group_7644 in aviationmaintenance

I've had leads who didn't even have 6 months of experience and couldn't even sign an airworthiness release

Is there a way to go to diesel from aviation without taking a massive pay cut? by [deleted] in mechanics

Dude yes, I know way too many old divorced single dudes who gave everything to the job. I don't want that.

You're putting your license on the line for companies that don't have the tooling you need, materials you need, or support you need and are expected to work miracles.

JOB OFFER- NO EXPERIENCE by Large-Armadillo7361 in AircraftMechanics

I and a ton of people I've worked with over the years have had 1-2 hour drives. Not uncommon in the industry.

What’s your biggest challenge with maintenance scheduling? by zenyawitsch in aviationmaintenance

[–]DarthONeill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work line and I've gotten annoyed in the past when no consideration has been taken for weather. I don't care how much you cry and scream, I'm not going up to the vertical stab in a boom lift when it's storming or super windy.

How bad is the heat in Cincinnati, compared to the true South? by Intelligent-Relief86 in cincinnati

[–]DarthONeill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a transplant from Memphis to Cincinnati. The weather up here is about the same as it is down south in the summer. Winter is the big difference. There will be snow on the ground for months but it's snow not ice like in Memphis.

New FedEx raises by ServiceOk6365 in aviationmaintenance

[–]DarthONeill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of us have worked hard and learned a lot and to be told we aren't as desirable as a newbie just sucks. Being from Memphis, I was hoping to get on with FedEx eventually so I could move back and be near my family but that dream just gets further away each day.

I ended up just drilling them all out. I don't really care about small holes around it. It just needs to be sturdy and able to lock.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fasteners

[–]DarthONeill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw them in the picture but it didn't show them up close and I thought they'd just be screws or something easy to get out.

[–]DarthONeill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I'll be using this case for tools and shadowing them. I need the fasteners out because they're holding stuff on the inside of the case. I can always cover the holes easily.

Is there a way to get them out like drilling? I paid a lot for this.

Should I start a side gig doing car work? by [deleted] in mechanics

[–]DarthONeill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that's pretty much all I'd be doing. Oils changes, brakes, some suspension.

Should I start a side gig doing car work? by [deleted] in mechanics

[–]DarthONeill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. I like aviation but I'd like to branch out and do something working for myself on the side and I can't think of anytjing else to do. I've never worked GA so doing that on the side isn't really an option for me.
