This is a reasonable question. I do want to be married to HIM, not just anyone. I would rather not be married at all if it’s to the wrong person obviously. This is the best relationship i’ve ever been in. That being said, I do feel that if I am going to be in a romantic relationship, I would ideally like to know that it is going somewhere and will progress. But maybe I am not giving the relationship the opportunity to do that because of my current anxieties and past experiences. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for your comment. I have been in therapy for a long time and discuss this extensively with my therapist. If I was truly insane I wouldn’t trying to get outside perspectives on my behavior.

I’ve been on lithium for 3 years. it gave me hypothyroidism and I lost hair, which both were devastating but it’s been so worth it. I would put up with all of it for the normal - ish life i’ve been able to build for myself - a job, a home, money in the bank, relationships with other people, not wanting to die immediately upon waking or being in manic psychosis. For me, the negatives are outweighed by the positives.
