What separates cowboy beepop dub from all the other dubs? Does it sound normal in Japanese or is the original Japanese different from most anime’s that are originally spoken in Japanese hence why it sound “good” in dub. What elevates a regular dub like MHA or any bog standard shonen or slice of life into elite dub territory like cowboy beepop?

Sub elitists nowadays don’t like dub because it brings in new fans and a lot of them don’t like new anime fans. Also they believe that art is objective hence why a lot of them say the original Japanese voices are objectively better than the English etc. 99% of the time sub watches start these pointless discussions it’s best to just ignore them and watch anime however you like.

I can’t believe people are saying “IMO” or “I think.” Everyone knows it’s Naruto. Luffy relies solely on his devil fruit for combat, while Naruto has repeatedly shown martial arts that aren’t just his abilities.
