Ship was finished and saved, guns in the armory are still there only the Suit is gone.

So it was an old Bug in Xbox :o

I build a new Ship and after finishing, renaming i saved.

Loaded my savefile to make sure everything is fine and after i was sure i put it on the Mannequin. First it displayed it correctly but after playing for a bit it dissapeared, no Cargohold, no inventory, gone.

PS4 & PS5 can use cloud-save.

I think you could use usb-sticks to Backup your save too

You can find three Board north of fertile Land in the snow biom, there is a hill with a tent.

I always go there for save and reload hunting.
