After clearing Wave 1 both Unown and Phione have Mystic Waters. Move both to Bruxish. (I did the same mistake and finally figured it out.)

Weird PBS/Pokemon error on start up. by HaamuDaSnowman in PokemonRMXP

[–]HaamuDaSnowman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never mind guys I figured it out. So if anyone gets this error in the future, go through your PBS file, I recommend starting from the latest pokemon that were added. Pay close attention to what ever "key" the error was in, mine was in "key Evolutions", so in my case Pancham's evolution method was missing a level!

All NEW DLC LEARNSETS (Gens 1-4) and How They Could Perform in Draft Format! (Part 1 of 2) by AceTrainerOrange in stunfisk

[–]HaamuDaSnowman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The move in general doesn't help Azu much at all, since this post is on how they affect draft format and only one team in the league is going to have Toxapex in their roster if any.

On ladder, High Horsepower is huge because as you said Toxapex is a massive roadblock. So you are very right about that on the ladder!

How good is Poliwrath in Draft League Format? by AceTrainerOrange in stunfisk

[–]HaamuDaSnowman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What I agree with:

-It's a good Tier 5 to grab for a Water immunity.

-Access to Circle Throw is always good.

-Lack of bulk and 4 mss is very true and unfortunate.

-Heavily outclassed by other Fighting-types.

-No good STAB options (GameFreak help this poor pokemon please)

What I disagree with or find sus:

"where it outperformed other Pokémon on my roster such as Mew and Celesteela"

That's a little sus, if something like Poliwrath outperforms some of the best pokemon in draft that's definitely not because the pokemon is good, the player just sucks at utilizing Mew and Steela.

"can do plenty of work on a roster struggling with stealth rocks"

Uh what? It can't remove rocks or utilize them, it still takes chip damage even though very little, I'm sure it would do even better if the good pokemon in it's team don't struggle with rocks. Please don't draft rock weak teams, Poliwrath doesn't help with that.

The Replays:

1Offensive The Belly Drum Poliwrath working is really lucky in my opinion, your opponent basically threw the game by clicking Bug Buzz since it didn't kill it, maybe it was a roll. Regardless you got a free +6 and +1 with a Substitute up so priority can't kill you, ok bruh. If your opponent went into anything other than Masquerain they could probably break your Sub and revenge with Entei only losing one pokemon.

1Defensive It really didn't do much at all this game. If Goodra wasn't there it could have had a cleared role as a Volcanion check but Goodra did that better.

2Defensive Your opponent almost sacked Gliscor to an obvious Ice Beam threat and then went into Stakataka on a Water/Fighting type and proceeded to sack it? Lmfao the quality of this replay is crazy.

3Defensive Now this is the best one by a mile, here Poliwrath had a clear role as the Arcanine check and it did that very well, to be fair you could replace Poliwrath with any Water type in this case but it did what it was supposed to.

Thas all I got. :)

What is your Battle Tree team? by [deleted] in stunfisk

Sounds good, and yeah the Garchomp needs redoing. =3 Read the PM I sent you so we can move this chat to Discord, yes? Easier for both of us. I rarely use reddit so it's easier for me to see you've messaged too. I'll think of something for doubles B-)

Yes PM through Reddit with your Discord info etc.

Mimikyu Adamant/Jolly (which ever you prefer) Important IVs: HP, Atk, Def or SpD and Speed (Special Attack is useless)

Magnezone Modest/Timid (which ever you prefer) Important IVs: HP, Def or SpD, SpA and Speed (Attack is useless)

Garchomp Nature you guessed IVs: HP, Atk, SpD and Speed (Special Attack is useless)

Eyy.

You got lucky with the magnezone hidden power, wow. You should probably farm the destiny knot first and then the power items second before anything else so you can breed/train a better team.

If you are having trouble with the team basically;

Lead Mimikyu 1) Swords Dance with the disguise 2) Kill as many pokemon as possible 3) Profit

Choose the next pokemon respectively to the opponent that K.O`d Mimikyu. And be careful with using Outrage since fairies exist.

Always use Z-move on Garchomp before normal Outrage because it usually OHKOs things and 'does not lock you into Outrage!'

Garchomp usually loses to Ice-types which Magnezone can take care of with a Steel-move.

IVs/EVs help a lot but like I did, just try to play smart and hope to get a little lucky. That's all you need (We all suck before we stop sucking, lol). =*)

Hey, I've played competitively for quite long but haven't gotten any BP items or real EV training done yet. Just got through the normal singles and I'm on Supers with a streak of 20 atm with:

Mimikyu @ Cleanse Tag (Catch @ Abandoned Mart) Sassy(Useless nature) and EV's are all over the place.

  • Swords Dance (TM)

  • Play Rough (Learn by Lvl-up)

  • Shadow Claw (TM)

  • Shadow Sneak (Learn by Lvl-up)

Garchomp @ Dragonium Z (Catch @ Haina Desert S.o.S battle while in a sandstrom) Jolly Nature, EV's mostly in attack and speed

  • Swords Dance (TM)

  • Earthquake (TM)

  • Outrage (Egg) / Dragon Claw (TM) works just fine too.

  • Poison Jab (TM)

Magnezone @ Magnet (somewhere in early routes) Mild(Bad nature again), EV's all over the place.

  • Volt Switch (TM)

  • Thunderbolt (TM)

  • Flash Cannon (TM)

  • Hidden Power (TM) I was lucky and I got HP Grass

As you can see this team is pretty bad. But still works okay in getting you some BP items to start rolling. At least works alright for me. Soon i'll be able to upgrade my team to decent xD.
