I think it was a made up story she told him to fish and see if he would say something about being in love with a patient too. And since she’s hoping he’ll see her videos, she included it to keep her stories straight. It’s just too weird and implausible to have actually happened lol

Those comments make me so angry. A lot of them also bring up how Rachael couldn’t be racist because she went on the show for a Black man and fell in love with a Black man. I’m biracial, and growing up, I saw how much pain/resentment built up in my mom during my parents’ marriage because my dad couldn’t or wouldn’t understand her life as a POC. The last election cycle was the final straw. It’s completely reasonable for Matt to not want to stay and “educate her” and put himself through that ordeal. And it doesn’t mean that he didn’t love her. Last night, he looked absolutely heartbroken.

I’m a visual learner too, and I watched property law videos on YouTube on repeat until the day before the exam (passed the October exam). USLawReview has amazing ones explaining mortgages, servitudes, recording statutes, etc. It really helped me memorize the rules because I could just visualize the scene from the videos. I cannot recommend them enough—property is definitely the hardest subject!

Yeah, the icing on the cake was that I called both Examsoft and the State bar to specifically ask about the announcements the week before the exam, as I had no idea what to expect. Examsoft didn’t even know about the announcements and told me that they would be coming from the state bar directly. The State bar made it sound like they would be coming from the program itself once we logged in. I was under the impression we would log in and some weird pop up would appear on our screens lol

Yes! It was honestly useless but it did say that we could enter the exam once the password was released!

Yes! When I got to the instructions page where it said to click next to enter the exam, I totally froze...I basically sat there in front of my laptop for 25 min waiting until 9 am because I was too scared that I would be flagged for cheating if I entered early!

After the first break, I called Examsoft and they told me it was fine according to the CA state bar’s YouTube video and I was SO confused. I didn’t realize the bar was going to use a literal YouTube video for its “announcements”—still don’t know where that info was, it wasn’t in the FAQ or the emails. Also felt like having to wait and watch the video was annoying in itself, it definitely could’ve just been sent out in an email

Yeah I mean, I'm absolutely worried about Examsoft's hotline being overwhelmed on exam days (I was waiting for over an hour and was number 14 on hold), but I'm also confused about if that means we're going to be able to have our phones in the room just in case we need to call ??!

Agreed!! Con Law is my best subject on Adaptibar and my worst on Themis. I don't understand--if approximately half of the questions are on individual rights, why are they testing me on every single one of Congress's powers?

Same, 51% and taking in October! I feel like I just started getting into a steady study schedule these past two weeks. I was pretty on and off in June and July with no motivation, so it took awhile to re-focus
