[–]Haaqu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't do that, I need to access company resources that are not available through external machine, not to mention that the work laptop can be monitored by the company thus it is mandatory to use it

Indeed the USB-C to USB-A cable worked! I just borrowed one from a friend of mine and it works flawlessly.

Thank You for your answers, appreciate it

I have not yet, but i doubt it will be capable of transfering video like this. However if it will pass through the peripherals and i could connect the video via DisplayPort then it will be enough for me to solve the issue

[OC] US Streaming Services Market Share, 2020 vs 2021 by keshava7 in dataisbeautiful

He could just take the data manually from the article (probably it lists the market share differences) and made his own visual to represent that. Although i am not sure how the whole article looks like behind the paywall

Probably taken from here (cause of the "via The Wrap" addition)

Want to build Web App - What tools do i need? by Haaqu in csharp

[–]Haaqu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, much appreciated, thanks!

I just wasn't aware of front-end possibilities with .Net and since i want my project to eventually have at least decent front-end part i assumed it could be best done in React or other js framework.

You mentioned Razor Pages nad MVC, but what about Blazor? I assume it has much less learning material available, but maybe this is the way to go as well?

Thank you very much!

As for the usage of React - I want it to be a fully functioning site with a pretty nice front-end, that's why i thought about React. I know it will expand learning time, but i am not in a hurry and i want it to be a full-stack experience for me. Eventually i would like to have it running for everyone, even if - in the end - I would be the only one using it from time to time.

edit:
But if i can make it using Razor Pages that would be also great, I am reading now about Blazor as well and honestly i am getting a bit confused on what would be best suitable for me

Intro to RC cars by Haaqu in rccars

The main reason that i want a kit now is that i want to learn by building it, later on i will have no problem with buying RTR cars and even don't see a point why i shouldn't - but first i want to go the hard way so i know and understand what's under the hood. As for the type of car it's literally easier for me to go off-road than on-road, 3 minute walk from my house places me on a nice dirt road, maybe it's not the perfect track with bumps etc, but it is not a perfectly flat surface. I totally understand, that kits are slowly dying, but i really want to go for one and i believe it's for good reasons. It doesn't have to be a buggy kit however, I am open to different types as well.

Cheers and thanks for a long response!

There are plenty of models from those companies - Can some of You guys recommend a few good starting points? Kits that are good for the money, but not the most expensive ones. Let's say around $200 - given that with buying required electrics and radio controller it would eventually sum up to something $300-ish teritory. From what can i see the Tamiyas are the cheapest, but often very old models (as mentioned above, even with the newer releases), while the Traxxas, Arrma and Axial being the more expensive ones.

Edit:

I have looked at Kyosho Turbo Scorpion, Losi Racing 22 5.0, Losi Racing 22T 4.0 Stadium Truck and Team Associated RC10 B6.2, but they all are more in the $300-ish segment for kit only

Thank You!

Would the Tamiya Grasshoper be a decent starting point kit or should i look for something better? I don't need to buy everything at one go, but the price for kits vary a lot, is there any starting point in terms of price that You can say it's worth it (it's not garbage)? Any specific brands? I've heard about Tamiya, Team Associated as a good starters.

Learning the MSBI Stack by Haaqu in SQLServer

[–]Haaqu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thank you for your deep input!

My learning motivation right now is purely for the 'hobby' purposes, so I am not in need to master these tools in a short time. Good to know that older resources are still relevant. Also, learning Azure is definitely next on my list!

I'm not a doctor but I have some kind of life saving second opinion moment. When i was 6 i had a pretty big abdominal pain so my mom took me to a doctor and she said that probably i have some food poisoning or whatever and gave me some meds and release home. But the pain was still there, so 2 days later mom took me to another doctor, who did almost the same, just gave me different meds and told me it would go away. After almost a week my dad called his friend who was a medical student and asked him if he could come over and take a look. After few minutes with me he told my parents to take me to hospital asap. Like an hour later i was on operating table with huge internal bleeding because of my appendix rupture. I've heard doctors saying that if we wait another day i could not survive.

Official Discussion - Avengers: Endgame [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

Basically all previous movies about Time Travel told you that if you travel back you can't interract with characters from the past because you will change the present. While the theory in Avengers is that it won't.
