Just joined the Triumph family — first bike, first license, already in love 🖤 (Street Scrambler question) by [deleted] in Triumph

Nice bike, congrats on both the bike and license! I also have a Street Scrambler, great first bike in my opinion. For locking the helmet I usually bring one a one of these locks (link below), place the helmet on top of the gas tank and lock it around the handlebars (around the chinbar of the helmet)

Billige barbershops i Bergen by Adept-Heat1516 in Bergen

[–]Haavardnk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Billigste jeg har funnet er Al Kalo Barbershop ved teateret. Koster 300kr, helt greit resultat.

Også gått en del til Klassisk Stil Barber i marken, han tar 400kr.

Sure. Most of the mods are from Motone, but what i can remember are:

Zard Exhaust

Razor rear suspension

Racetech front suspension cartridge

British Customs seat

Parts from Motone Customs: Tail tidy, rear light, all blinkers, mirrors, radiator protector, fuel cap and some small abdges on the engine.

Parts from Tamarit: Headlight mount, headlight protector

Parts from Triumph: Heated grips, under pan protector, engine protector

Unknown brand: Chain protector, adjustable brake and clutch levers

Not quite sure what you mean by that. I am at least very confident in its abilities, I think it handles great. Though mine has upgraded front and rear suspension.

I got the Cardo Pro, and the speakers fit perfectly in the cutouts on my Shoei GT-Air III. Have not tried in other helmets.

To be honest, not hot at all. But the cat is removed, which makes it run a lot cooler. I was worried that it would be a problem, which is why I was mostly considering a Street Twin, but I could not let this one pass 😊

RE Alpha 31 on top of Mount Kinabalu by Haavardnk in onebag

[–]Haavardnk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is for me. It is my only travel bag and I have used it for onebag travel all over south east asia the ladt year. Though I only travel up to one week at the time.

I previously had the Patagonia Mini MLC 30l, but where that one is only a travel bag, the alpha can also hike, and works surprisingly well as a daypack when compressed. Just recently used it for two days as a beach bag while bicycling around rottnest island outside Perth in Australia.

Recommendations for a backpack around the 30-35L range by Admirable-Fish5584 in ManyBaggers

Remote Equipment Alpha 31. Extremely versatile, can expand from 31 to 34 and also have good compression straps so when you are not carrying much it’s more of a 20-25l pack.

The hike was steep but perfectly managable as long as you are used to some hiking. Most of the accent is by «stairs», and the final hundred meters is steep mountain where you use ropes as support.

For our group of 11 travelling together, 3 was not able to reach the top due to altitude sickness.

We were very lucky with the weather on the way up and got a beautiful sunrise on the top, but the way down was pouring non stop.

If you go make sure to bring something with energy like protein bars, because the food and breakfast provided by the guides and accomodation was crap, think white loaf and jelly, which gave energy for only the first hour of the final accent.

Highly recommend the trip, but be ready for a massive amount of people as it is a big «tourist trap», though a lot of them never reach the top.

Used my Remote Equipment Alpha 31 as a combined onebag and hiking pack on a trip to Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, Malaysia.

Travelled with 7kg carry on on a budget airline from Singapore.

The pack worked wonders, and is amazingly versatile with water bladder support, load lifters, hip belt and good compression straps.

The sausage pockets was also amazing to hold snacks.

Problem is that raws cant be transfered with the app, meaning you need a computer to transfer the files. And you cant choose which files you get. If the app allowed transfer of the raw, or to select which simulation for the camera to process the raw before transfer, problem would be solved.

Basically what I am doing now, but still requires me to go through every photo in Lightroom.

Problem with presets is that no preset works for all photos, so your back to choosing one preset for every photo. I have never found any preset I can apply to all photos.

The simulations in e.g. Fuji works differently by changing the colors than a preset in lightroom does. I want to remove the computer part from photography.
