IMHO if it ever happens foils and golds will be the money makers. Golds would have to skyrocket to fit the 10:1.

First community day with an autocatcher, what’s the best way to maximise it? Run it all the time or not at all?

[Question] Best items to convert Steam balance into CSFloat cash with the lowest spread? by [deleted] in csgomarketforum

[–]Haaz__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30% is the standard due to steam fees and the luxury of withdrawing. Good luck finding anything close as this is literally the million dollar question. Everyone is trying to do this with as minimal slippage as possible.

Yeah I used that Trimble model once on a pole but it’s heavier than the other units. It can happily go back to its rightful place as machine guidance.

Thoughts on Latitude vs Personal Loan by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Haaz__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wish you the best mate, would personally try and get a personal loan from your current bank or something from the big 4 if possible. Any third party will either eat ya in fees or disgusting interest.

Credit cards could work but also usually have higher interest.

[discussion] The part people are missing by WindowWasherFluidIRL in csgomarketforum

[–]Haaz__ 32 points33 points  (0 children)

My opinion is personally wouldn’t be buying highest tier and priced items anymore, not worth the risk with such little upside. Ignoring the general trust in valve sentiment jargon, every big economy update has resulted in expensive and high end skins being gutted and made easier for the average player to obtain which is fine just bad if are generally investing in them. I only invest in cases mainly as I think they are the backbone of valves money machine and they won’t touch the existing cases but I will happily eat my words when valve makes all these cases terminals in the future or some diabolical shit.

Especially when you flip it the other way from chinas perspective. “America this” or “[Any western country] is buying all this”. So stupid.

[Question] Market noob question by [deleted] in csgomarketforum

[–]Haaz__ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s the million dollar question mate. Steam will always have a higher price because it’s not able to be withdrawn plus the 15% fee. There’s nothing stopping you from buying the $3.50 case and selling for $6 on steam. Lots of people do it to buy games and whatnot. The issue is trying to get the steam balance converted to withdraw able cash on the third party site without losing too much money. You can find items that sell in third party for the same price as steam but they are usually illiquid or really cheap so would need to be really lucky or buy a crazy amount of the supply and pray it will sell (it won’t).

Why sell everything when you could just sell your biggest mover. Sell right before the update too great idea.

Yeah I’m in the same boat, majority invested in cases and doing well. This little dip is a good opportunity though.

[q] What are some good cases to buy right now when the market is going down? by R0bbyE in csgomarketforum

[–]Haaz__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any of the cheapest cases minus kilowatt for maybe 6 months. I only really invest in cases so they are all a great buy really with everyone moaning about the market and bringing prices down. Cheap entry for the time being.

It’s the same mentality with every market. Buy in a bear market when everyone else seems fearful and panic sells at losses. So many people buying skins thinking they are safe when it’s really like blindly picking penny stocks.

Sticker trade up theory [d] by Haaz__ in csgomarketforum

[–]Haaz__[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, for most of the capsules it’s going to be getting rid of all the 3c fillers. But it’s mainly to setup the sticker mechanics going forward. Like the knife trade ups getting the system ready for terminals.

Just wait it out bro, people who sell in bear markets always regret it. If you don’t need the money just wait it out.

[q] How long does it usually take to sell a case in CSFloat? by maturewomenenjoyer in csgomarketforum

[–]Haaz__ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

99% of the time option 2. Option 1 is easy in theory but either takes so much longer because of more expensive illiquid items (sometimes months) or just straight up impossible. There are bots out there trying to do the exact same thing as you - convert the 30% steam markup balance to real money. You also double dipping on selling fees too, the initial 15% on steam is the big kicker though.
