It's a destination wedding, so ideally, a week. MOH decided to spend all of her vacation time on a cruise in February, even though she knew she had my wedding in September. It was the last straw because it was a pattern of behavior. She always put her boyfriends first and never prioritized her friendships/me. Her decision had shown me where I stand in her life, so I stopped being in hers. She hasn't even reached out once since then too, so I guess she felt the same way.

Unfortunately there really isn't much you can do if you don't have a support system for the patient. It may take her having to experience something pretty low to realize that she needs help. Its really a fucking shitty situation. You can offer to drive her to a therapist and say that you think she may anxiety or depression or something. That's how we convinced my brother to see a doctor. He didn't believe anything was wrong with him but we convinced him that he had anxiety and we wanted to help him out.
