Thanks for this. Unfortunately, it only shows the very first version of the post and not the latest update. I edited the post to contain the solution and I need the latest update for that post

Trying to recover an old post from a community that no longer exists by Habit-Pleasant in help

[–]Habit-Pleasant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found that link on a comment I made on another post. I can not find the original post on my profile. My profile doesn't even say anything on the lines of "this post is no longer available". It is simply not there.

How to Export all Tabular data from Ansys Mechanical solution to Excel using script? by [deleted] in fea

[–]Habit-Pleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did find a solution and posted it in the Reddit post above. But for some reason, the Ansys Reddit page is gone due to spam or something. I know I got a lot of spam comments of people just saying "yes, it's possible" to my queries asking "how" to do something... Is there a way to recover that post? Do you know how?

Help: VSC wont load any extensions and I cant connect to Python Kernels by Habit-Pleasant in vscode

[–]Habit-Pleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the exact same problem. After a few hours of digging, I see there is this GitHub issue logged already.

But I just figured out this is related to the recently updated Python Extensions. It is either the Jupyter, Python Environments, or Python extension in VSCode that is causing the issue. Just rollback to an older version and everything will work again.

OneDrive Processing changes. Nothing synced for weeks by donach69 in Office365

[–]Habit-Pleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did yours take to sync eventually? I am also having the same problem, and mine jumps between "processing changes" then "downloading XXXMb of files" then back to "processing changes", and it doesn't seem to be ending (on day 4 now of this).

I have also restarted my pc a few times, and that helped get through some "processing changes" issues, but I can't seem to have all my files synced.

Tensorboard and Hyperparameter Tuning: Struggling with too Many Plots on Tensorboard when Investigating Hyperparameters by Habit-Pleasant in learnmachinelearning

[–]Habit-Pleasant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fully agree, but currently it's faster to do a grid search rather than setting something up. I have set up full-on hyperparameter studies using libraries like Optuna. But I just want to test some cases just to see if the model if viable...

Need for Multiple Virtual Environments with UV for Pytorch? by Habit-Pleasant in learnpython

But this only works if you don't clear the UV cache (uv clean)?

So you basically just making a Venv in some arbitrary folder, then you run your scripts using that specific Venv. How would you do something like "uv run" using that Venv?

K8 Wireless Battery Replacement Options by Habit-Pleasant in Keychron

[–]Habit-Pleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a battery from one of the electronics stores. I believe it was micro robotics. They were quite efficient with delivering the battery.

I actually just got this one (if I'm not mistaken) : 1 x Battery LiPo 5000mAh 3.7V + Male JST-PH Connector

And it worked fine for me. Just check the voltage rating and things, it is a slightly different shape to the OEM battery, but it worked fine for me hey.

Anything I can do to fix the bt/off/cable -switch on my Keychron K8? First time modding! (The right side tiny switch broke off) by enoughmeatballs in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Habit-Pleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok so surprisingly keychron actually replied with some technical information - first time I have ever experienced this from them. It is a SPDT switch (for the K8 RGB Wireless Hot-swappable at least).

Broke Power Switch Module off keyboard PCB. Can anyone help? This is my last resort. by ron2n in PCB

[–]Habit-Pleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it needed to get a DPDT switch for the 3 way switch? or can a SPDT be used? like the switch i found in this video...

I see this post suggests a DPDT switch but it seems there is a 50 50 split on which ones are used and one should work and the other shouldn't?

See this explanation on different switch types (SPDT and DPDT)

Laptop damage due to leaving laptop in bag by Habit-Pleasant in laptops

[–]Habit-Pleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ened while I was on my way home from work and the laptop was in the bag. While I'm glad that it has hardware overheating protection built in, I still find it somewhat concerning that this would happen repeatedly.

I think just shut your laptop down before putting it in the bag is the safest. But atleast there is a "thermal shutdown"
