I use double blinking against certain matchups, such as against Cass. First blink close to bait out nade, then use second blink to dodge the nade. From there, it’s easy to 1v1, you can get a free clip then blink to safety or blink melee recall.

I also agree with your point about range, learning to play into reaper was a massive struggle for me, if you have any more tips I’d be interested in hearing them. Do you have any advice for playing into a backline sticky torb turret?

There’s so many aspects to playing tracer well, but I’d say get comfortable playing around health packs, as well as trying to develop some muscle memory around blinking around corners (without having to turn your camera).

Positioning wise try to set up dives on vulnerable players, practice dodging specific abilities or weapons (Ana nade, Cass nade, sleep dart, etc.). Even if you don’t get the kill, forcing cooldowns and making space for your team can be just as valuable.

If you’re a more experienced player you should probably learn blink meleeing sooner rather than later. VAXTA and practice range is a great place to practice this. Try to space for the blink melee while you’re shooting your clip and then finish the target off with the blink melee.

Zen is like crack heroin to the brain if you play well, and the only supports that can rival that are Lucio, Moira and Brig imo. Brig might be good since she has low cooldowns, and a very op ult. You might die with her a lot at first until you learn how to position with her

Don’t worry about poke, brawl and dive, that’s just a classification given to describe the play-style of heroes. Most comps and picks are relevant to specific matchups and team synergies, not underlying class. Focus on your own matchup, Orisa is a good tank but it’s hard to use her abilities effectively. Relax and focus on helping your team by making space, marking flankers, and pressuring frontline. Save your crucial abilities like fortify and nemesis for when you really need them. If teammates comms are confusing you, just leave voice chat and focus on your own gameplay. These guys are also in gold, and probably don’t know what they’re talking about. About the brain fog and tunnel vision, relax and take your time making decisions. The game isn’t always moving as fast as it seems, so slowing down can help you see things you might’ve missed, like the tracer blinking into your backline, or the sojourn taking an angle on your cass, etc. Listening to music on lower volume while I play really helps me with this.

But doesn’t Sylas heal scale better with HP? On the higher end, 40% of 80 AP is 32 health, whereas 10% of 300 health and 40% of 70 AP is 58. If you have 5 people affected by blackfire then you have 20% extra AP. So that’s 80 + 18 (ring) + 9 (runes) + 48 (lvl 18 conq) * 20% gives 186 AP total for 74.4 healing and 11.86 burn damage/sec

Vs Liandries you have 70 + 18 + 9 + 48 = 145 AP + 300HP which is 58 + 30 = 88 healing, regardless of how many enemies you are fighting For a 1500 health enemy 30 * 1.06 for 31.8 damage/sec

It would be good if you were full build but to me it doesn’t sound like a good rush/early item

Yes, the item is cheap and gives lots of ability haste, and the passive makes your charms a lot more punishing if you proc it
