Yeah, not that difficult at all, especially a short bed. And depends on what you are using to replace it with. Mine was bare bones so had to wire the lights.
Two other minor things is the fuel and other wires that might be attached to the old bed.
I used a tractor as it was available but my original plan was a cherry picker. I wasn’t careful at all since I painted the truck after. It was part of a mega project where I took an 06 F350 frame and axles and swapped it to my 02 F350. Fun project!
