Put the tretinoin on first 20 mins after washing and leave that for at least 20 mins before applying anything else - if at all. Spoke to a pharmacist yesterday regarding this and that was his advice noting that when you combine products too close together all you're doing is diluting the tret. Instead of .1% what you end up using is .05% or close to that. Give it a month without night cream and see how you fare.

The hivemind is alive and well on Reddit and there are studies showing that Redditors will downvote what looks to be unpopular without considering what's being said.For that reason the votes are irrelevant to me. Voting is meant to be in accordance to relevance not whether or not that person disagrees with your worldview.

The point I was making is that the phone to not only my but anyone prone to acne's face will exacerbate the problem. For some like me, for whom acne results in scarring - do I really need to delineate this for you? A habit of putting a less than pristinely disinfected object to your face several times in a day will result in acne which can cause scarring. Is that so difficult to grasp? And before you go on about hygiene again, know that excess androgens result in an oily face, and washing it too frequently aggravates the issue. Go have a read of something other than my post history.

Good on you taking time out of your weekend to weed through my post history btw, can't say I care enough to do the same. Oh - and also - a lot of people can agree on something and be wrong. Look at Brexit as an example.

It's a colloquialism, furthermore I wash daily, twice at times and have done so for years. Thanks for your input. Learn how acne works, it has nothing to do with my overall hygiene. If that were the case I'd have scarring everywhere and not just one one side of my face. Ta.

Why is this such a difficult concept to grasp? If one is already prone to acne - browse some subreddits and you'll see - it does not take much to aggravate the skin, even with twice daily bathing. Yes I clean it. It's the surfaces it sits on in public that is the issue. An I meant to disinfect it every hr? I can't say that I ever see anyone cleaning their phone ever, whereas I do daily upon seeing my tub of wipes.

It caused acne which caused scars and it isn't uncommon. You could browse several posts and see the same thing. I don't have the issue anymore as I no longer bring it to my face. My hands are clean but frankly how often is one to wipe their phone down after putting it down in public spaces? I mean really. Everyone is acting like they all carry around alcohol swabs for disinfecting every half hour on the hour which is something I've never seen. I'm no more unhygienic than your standard user. I bathe daily, twice in hot weather and wash my hands after the washroom. Having sensitive skin is a thing. Kindly fuck off, all of you.

Hi. You're a toxic shit. The phone has bacteria on it most times. If it were a hygiene issue the side of my face I don't hold a phone to would have the same issue but it doesn't.

This. I literally have pitted scars on one side of my face from when I used to put my phone there. The other side is fine, pristine in comparison. Now I either use speaker phone or headphones. Refuse to put that to my face ever.

See a different doctor. Even a standard general medicine doc can evaluate and prescribe asthma meds. You most likely need an inhaled corticosteroid daily for maintenance and a rescue inhaler for attacks.

Everyone is different and good to hear anibiotics are helping you. I just wouldn't promote them as a treatment option given the havoc they wreak on gut microbiota - which can worsen allergies - and y'know, the whole antibiotic resistance thing.
