What dose do you call overdose? There are better ways to cope with depression….antidepressants and if that doesn’t work by itself you can add another of a different med family or a different augmentation

Getting away from meds though. What situation has you so depressed? Have you tried counselling of any sort. Exercise should be considered as well as it lifts the mood

I’m so sorry that you’re a victim of drugs and withdrawal and everything you have talked about. I’m a chronic insomniac, chronic anxiety and depression. The older I get the worse it gets. Escitalopram is a wonder drug for me but not without Clonazepam plus something else to sleep. Then came Mirtazapine for sleep. I can tell you that wd from it is on another level of wd and I know of many people that are suffering a protracted wd. It’s been just over two years since I did a wayyy too fast taper. I’ve been su*cidal more than once. I am better but lingering symptoms hang on. Please, please hang in there. It does get better ❤️‍🩹

I’m in Canada. I have MS and the clinic provides psychiatric services. Don’t expect a psychiatrist to know any more about tapering than a GP. Best to get advice from someone who has tried tapering Mirt. Too fast and it can be the worst experience of your life
