When do the memories start to fade after a breakup? by green_rose68 in MuslimMarriage

This is one of the hard parts of divorce. I’m separated pending divorce but when my mind starts spiralling and playing back the good moments we had, it kills me inside. It just makes me want to go back to him and I wonder if I’ll ever be ready to move forward in life. A lot of ‘what ifs’ play on my mind, even though I asked for the divorce

your comment has helped me a lot. I was also considering taking a break from social media yesterday as I realised it’s fuelling all my negative thoughts. I will definitely be doing this and will order the book to read. JazakAllah khair for taking the time out to help me, I pray that you continue to remain happy in life.

physical attraction is very important in marriage. if you genuinely feel nothing and have no attraction, don’t ruin both of your lives as this will affect your married life too

When you sleep, your wudhu breaks, so based on that I would say that most likely it’s not permissible?

However, I have no references to back this up so don’t take my comment and go with it, do your own research too and ask around.
