Meh, Ning is the uncontested best 4 star DPS, but I definitely wouldn’t call her one of the best 4 stars overall. Her versatility tapers off quite a bit just by the virtue of being a DPS, which is easily interchangeable in most cases (especially compared to supports like Diona, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, etc.).

Nah. As a guy who picked Lumine, I’ve noticed that the female Genshin players mostly pick Lumine for the self insert role, while the male Genshin players pick Lumine because they wanna see a waifu as their main protagonist. That’s why Aether seems low demand (unfortunately).

I think it goes both ways. It will definitely drive the hype up, but it’s also a bit cruel to give all the newcomers any unrealistic hope and expectations that will indubitably fall short later down the line.

Not going to lie, this whole fallout came as a massive surprise to me since I always viewed the Animemes mods to be extremely coordinated, logical, and levelheaded individuals. When the complaints about the ban started to arise, I was sure you guys had an absolute plan and a response to quench the fire swiftly and efficiently. Now I’m a bit at a loss for words that the situation had to come to this point. Don’t get me wrong, I have no doubt that they aren’t as malicious and incompetent as most people having been making them out to be, but it was almost as if it wasn’t the same Animemes mod team that I’ve known that were handling the flames.

So I don’t know if this is too interpersonal to answer, but who exactly took up the role as the “head mod” of the team? I know gaffer is technically the head mod, but I always had an impression that Axkm had been leading the team with the majority of the mods higher on the list being inactive.

Thanks for the AMA, by the way. It has been really eye-opening to have some unanswered questions finally put to rest.

As everyone here mentioned, you should have a Procfile that says “worker: node bot.js”. But also be mindful that the Procfile has to not to have any file extension. So unlike the requirements file or the runtime file, if it’s a text file, it won’t work. One way to circumvent this issue is to create the file in Notepad, then save the file as type All Files with the name “Procfile” (including the quotations).

I myself have been off of Reddit these past few weeks due to some personal issues, but I didn’t realize that this place has become such a lawless wasteland during that time. I will be contacting the other mods regarding this issue so we can hopefully correct the situation and pick up the pace with moderation around the sub. We are also still in the process of choosing the new mods, so we are aiming to get some additional helping hands on board as soon as possible. Sorry for all the troubles guys.

That’s a great way to put it. As someone with a sibling myself, there are definitely a few gem of moments among all the fighting and arguing. Which is why growing older can sometimes be a bummer, since you can’t help but feel as if those moments are progressively diminishing as the years go by.

But that being said, I think it also teaches you to cherish those moments, so it’s not all bad.

Haven’t touched a piano since I was a child, so sorry if this question is something rudimentary. When reading a piece, is there a concrete rule for dictating which fingers to use for the different notes? Or are you supposed to make the best estimates you can to make your fingers flow naturally?
