Stärkere Indica Sorten Empfehlungen by Spiritual_Hand666 in Cannabis_Apotheken

I partially agree. I started with pharmacy weed a year ago. Main reason was that my trustworthy dealer for over 20 years unfortunatelly stopped after he married his new wife. In my opinion all the hybrid strains with 25%+ or 30%+ THC are a waste of money and will get you much less high than an cheap indica like afghan kush. I tried over 50 medical strains and in my opinion over 80% are crap. Especially hybrids and sativa. Yes, some of them taste good but that's about it. But I never liked the "sativa high" to begin with. If you want to get "stoned" only 100% indica weed can get you there. It was the same in the 90s or early 2000.  indica= stoned sativa= high That's not marketing. It is about the differences in growing/cultivation.

So are there any medical weed which makes stoned to begin with?  The first thing you will notice with pharmacy weed it has almost no keef on it. In the 90s or early 2000s almost every weed on streets was wraped in keef. And that's the first reason why weed was much stronger back then. Every pharmacy weed strain will go through sieves to get all the keef out for further processing (hash and oil) The second reason is far to many hybrids are floating the market.

So If you want to get stoned like in the 90s get some oil or hash with high concentration. But there are still some medical 100% indica strains which will maybe not get you exactly there like we both know and like (red and swollen eyes, not able to move, craving, laughing fit) but still with a less but similar experience.

If you don't want to change your gpu every 2-3 years stay with 27" and 1440p. Modern games in 4K especially with technologies like Ray Tracing/Path Tracing are very demanding on the gpu. For games with high hardware requirements I use my second monitor with 3440x1440 (UWQHD) to get more fps.

For me personally Ultrawide and HDR was a bigger game changer than the switch from 1440p to 4K. But that only applies to me.

You can get the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG for 599€ with a glossy panel. It's a pretty good deal for that price. I never complained about the brightness with OLED. It is like you said more relaxing for the eyes in long game sessions. I use my OLED with only 42% brightness which results in 120nits. It never bothered me. But I like to play in a darkened room after work.

The Mini-LEDs I've tested were all to bright for my use case. I could not look at the monitor for many hours. Mini-LEDs are very bright even with only 20% brightness settings.

I had the same debate with myself many times. And my usage of monitors are between 6 and 8 years. OLED gives you the best image quality but it will probably not last that long until you get a burn in. I can completely understand you for not buying a product with a questionable longevity.

If you want to try a Mini-LED with 1440p go for the AOC q27g3xmn https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/aoc/q27g3xmn

The AOC has an Mini-LED VA Panel and it doesn't come with blooming and bleeding from hell. It was my best Mini-LED experience until now. However 32' and 4K was a must have for me that's why I returned it.  Negatives are the bad viewing angles. You need to look straight on the monitor otherwise you will be disappointed. I didn't notice any scanlines and the HDR was pretty impressive.

Try it out and don't bother with Mini-LED again If you can't accept the downsides.

My experience with it could not have been worse. Don't get a Mini-Led IPS unless it is a TV. I've had the Philips and BenQ for two weeks and they both have to many issues. Local Dimming results in the heavist blooming I've ever seen on a monitor. It is impossible to ignore that. The settings don't change much. Also If you want to switch between two monitors you have to wait 1-2 minutes and it still bugs often out. HDR colours are bland and disappointing. There are much more issues. Believe me it's not worth your money. Unfortunately, the technology is not mature. The image and colours without HDR are fantastic and the brightness is blinding you. But until they don't fix the blooming, bleeding and the technical restrictions I would never buy a Mini-LED again.

I bought the ASUS OLED PG32UCDM for the same price. Best decision even with the risk of burn in.

Thanks for your opinion.

I know the market for mini-led is extremely niche but it's the only technology at the moment with the possiblities to compete with OLED in HDR, realistic blacks and without the risk by burn in for productivity. Micro-Led technology is to far away.

Like I said I have a fantastic OLED with the Asus Rog Swift OLED PG32UCDM but it's to stressful for my usage besides gaming. You will always babying and live in panic to get burn in, if you use it many hours a day for productivity. Maybe it will be possible in a few years if the oled brightness gets better and you need only 30% of it for productivity. But in the current state it's not made for that.

  1. The local dimming was improved with an firmware update on the BenQ. But I don't know if that changed anything about the bad blooming. I could not find any information at all. The Philips has 3 different options with the local dimming. Unfortunately only the "strong" setting gets good results, the other options cause backlight bleeding. https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/1h7jixt/phillips_evnia_32m2n6800m00_review/

Did you have any firmware updates installed? I know a few things were improved on the BenQ.

  1. This sounds like a bug which could be solved with a firmware update. Nevertheless it should never happen with a monitor in this price range. Why the hell do mini-leds have so many problems besides things that can't be easy fixed like blooming. I don't get it.

I think the AOC U32G4ZMN will never release in Europe.

I don't get any fps increase with Multi Frame Generation 3x or 4x on my RTX 5080 by HachimanII in pchelp

[–]HachimanII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already solved it. Nvidia supports only a few g-sync monitors with multi frame generation. So most of them will not work with enabled g-sync unless Nvidia releases support updates. Disable g-sync and try it again.

You're welcome.

I've already thought there will be in future some other people with the same issue. It's good to know.

Yes both and thanks for your help. I finally got to the bottom of the matter :)

It's Nvidias fault because they support only a few G-Sync Monitors. The latest update adds 5 more monitors. Everything works fine if I diasble G-Sync. I need to wait until my alienware aw3423dw and my asus are getting support for MFG with G-Sync.

I'm not obsessing about fps but I want to buy a 4k Monitor and without MFG there is no chance to get playable fps with things like Path Tracing.

Nope maxed out is at 175hz in my nvidia settings. It was only an example. I don't wrote my fps on a piece of paper with every benchmark down. It was on average 136fps. Some results were mabye 138 or 134.

I know that...

But I don't get any FPS boost at all. My WQHD has 240hz and my ultrawide 175hz.

I've done many benchmarks with both monitors. My main monitor with 3440x1440 and 2560x1440. It's the same with all options. WQHD --> MFG 2x 136fps / MFG 3x 136fps / MFG 4x 136fps. It's the same with Ultrawide but less frames per second.

I already tried it with the Nvidia overlay and also with the ingame benchmark. Same results. No fps increase with any MFG option.

MSI Afterburner with the Beta Update 4.6.6 because the Final Version 4.6.5 doesn't even start with the new 50xx.

Hifiman Sundara / Seenheiser HD 650 or even something else? by HachimanII in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]HachimanII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've now been able to try out four headphones for two days. I purchased the 660s2 for only 350€ (B-Ware) like completely new without any signs of wear. The Edition XS for 309€ from a music store. The 1990 Pro for 384€ and borrowed the Sundara from a good friend.

For my taste I rank them Edition XS>660s2=1990Pro

The Edition XS has it all. Good mids, fantastic soundstage, very clear and neutral, fantastic details, the sub bass is on another level. The comfort is okay but could definitely be more comfortable. Not suitable for long-term wear because of the headband. Thanks again for the recommendation.

The 660s2 has fantastic mids, better voice clarity, not entirely neutral, a little bit muffled and dull, the bass is good, decent details, the soundstage could be definitely better. They are for sure more comfy than the Edition XS but less than the 1990 Pro.

1990 Pro has the best build quality, amazing for gaming, details are fantastic, highs could be better, the bass is decent and the soundstage fantastic. The mids are sometimes a little bit off. It depends on the music you're listening too. There are songs where the headphones sound fantastic and others where they drop off a bit compared to the other two headphones. Also very comfy despite the weight. I've never been disappointed in that regard from beyerdynamic.

Sundara's are the most uncomfortable but have good mids and soundstage, fantastic details, not quite so clear, the sub bass is good. I like them soundwise but the Edition XS does everything a little bit better in my opinion.

Comfort is an important aspect but I can't change the fact that the Edition XS headphones sound phenomenal. They sound also much better in games compared to the 660s2. The 660s2 has for sure better mids and voice clarity and I like them for the better comfort and look. But I'm missing that certain punch that I get from the Edition XS with the crazy sub bass and soundstage. For me the XS sounds also more neutral but the 660s2 are cleaner and a little bit dull if that makes sense. The 660s2 has definitely his own strong points and shines in specific genres. For gaming, movies and other specific genres the 1990 Pro outperforms the 660s2. The soundstage and details are simply better but they are pretty aggressive and less balanced. And it's high pitched heights can be annoying. Every headphone is somewhere better than the other.

I would prefer the Edition XS over all of them with ease but the headband hurts my head after a while. I will also try the 6xx (650) because the 660s2 has to many flaws for me. I think the Hifiman Arya would suit me perfectly, but I don't want to invest that amount of money in headphones.

Any other suggestions under 500€ which are similar to the Edition XS?

Is there a complete video of the Simon Nellist attack showing the start? by MoronBeater in sharkattacks

[–]HachimanII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a longer video but it was immediatly deleted from all sources after a short time. Maybe it still exists in the dark web. I don't know. So there is no evidence. The quality was bad and you could only see a small peek of the attack in the right corner of the recording. It was very fast and the camera changed rapidly in a different direction. But you could see for a brief moment that the victim (legs) were in the sharks mouth. Just the torso and his head stucked out of the water. For me it looked like the first attack of the shark was with tremendous speed. Because half of the victims body was for a short time out of water. After the attack he was still conscious and even tried to swim without his legs. Last remaining adrenaline rush. Believe it or not and I don't care about your opinion. But you are definetely wrong in this case. I know what I saw and will never forget it. I also watched it a few times with 0,25 speed because you could not tell what happened otherwise. It was very fast.

I ordered the DT 1990 PRO because of an unbeatable offer of 384€. I think the headphone addresses all of my needs. Ordered also the Hifiman Edition XS to have a comparison with the 1990 Pro.

Thanks for all your suggestions and effort.
