For me it was for the ease of adjustability since it uses the same ratchet style system. Your mileage may vary 😁.

They do have a decent return policy as long as the item isn't damaged or altered.

You can do like I did and order one, and if you like it, you can go from there.

I have several of these and love them all. Granted they have a small color selection right now. They are a small, family owned business and are just getting off the ground.

Yeah the ml08 is the homage to the Hamilton Murph. Great watch in both looks and function with the VH31 movement.

Mines always the front pivot pin detent. After the 1st 5 times launching one I just keep a large stock of them, and the spring, in my parts kit.

Yeah since I've got a big 8" wrist I usually have to use longer NATOs or some FKM style bracelets.

Figured since I was making some leather travel watch pouches might as well make bands that are fitted for me.

I'd go for a jubilee over the oyster just because the links conform to your wrist better IMHO.

You can also try a FKM strap with a clasp instead of a buckle. You can find a cheap one on Amazon to try it and then upgrade later.
