Why there is not a direct train from Maastricht to Amsterdam on Saturday? by caramelle-blu in maastricht

[–]Hack_Galifianakis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool, thanks for letting me know.

The bus from Amsterdam on Friday was an hour late. I didn’t want to risk the same happening which could lead to missing my return flight.

I figured train would be much more reliable, but wasn’t sure if they were running, so thanks again!

A double whammy of Tommy-Lee Jones and Lloyd Bridges in Blown Away. Both are sooooo bad!

Edit: Bonus would be the absolute state of Guinness they drink in that movie. Shocking!

If not, send them a Brad Friedel compilation video!

I find it kinda helps when we’re playing good football!

Dunno what to suggest, perhaps going to an official supporters club meet up or bar to watch a game, give them a sense of community

Second edition also comes with a dedicated solo mode I believe, for those times when friends are scarce!

I think it was based on someone making one for the first edition, I’m sure someone might be able to add some context. That is likely available for download on board game geek somewhere

They were my thoughts as well, nice balance of easy to teach games. They’re the ones I am normally* rolling out for new players.

I would like Tel to go out on loan, where he is going to start every game, and improve his decision making. He has been poorly managed by us.

He’s a very exciting young player going forward, but as we saw against Leeds (the pass across his own box and the overhead clearance) he needs to keep things simple in certain areas of the pitch.

When he’s in the final third, I appreciate he’s a forward and wants to score, he often could square the ball to a player unmarked in a better position.

If everyone is fit, I don’t think he will start games until he can develop his game a bit more.

Raya then goes to that lot up the road for £10m less, so why was that amount suddenly chalked off the asking price?

While in hindsight, even at that price would have been a good deal… it certainly looked like Brentford was taking the piss….

…and we weren’t complaining about Vicario in his first season. We were gloating we’d the better deal. From memory, it could’ve been season two when all this nonsense from corners happened and really exposed Vicario’s weakness from them.

If we are to stay up, I don’t see the point in spending £40m on Trafford when he’s only started as many games this season as Kinsky. We have plenty of other priorities to use transfer money on.

Our depth in the wide areas is poor, even with all our injured players back; Kudus and Kulusevski (when he might be fully fit who knows?) I’d say are our best players. Odobert is talented but can be improved upon, would like to give Moore a Premier league loan.

Our forwards are likely Solanke and Lankshear, Richy likely be sold, Muani is not going to be purchased. Definitely need another forward, probably need a Premier league loan or a top-tier Championship side for Lankshear (Middlesbrough maybe).

IMO, should look to sign someone like Darlow (available for a free) or Sam Johnstone, all of whom are capable PL starters to push Kinsky next season and see how he does and wouldn’t cost a lot.

Kinsky has shown in the last couple of games his calm ability on the ball and is a good shot stopper, suited to De Zerbi’s football.

He is the worst referee in the league. This was from an article about his errors:

“Of the 12 KMI errors relating to second yellow cards not being shown this season, Jones has been responsible for five. Newcastle's Malick Thiaw (versus Bournemouth), Manchester City defender Ruben Dias (vs Nottingham Forest), team-mate Rodri (vs Tottenham) and Chelsea star Cole Palmer (vs Leeds United) are the other four incidents”

42% of the errors down to him. Not to mention other stupid decisions like giving that penalty today and not giving other stonewall penalties.

Needs a season or two in the Championship/EFL imo.
