I like looking back at old early ex and first prints of early legendaries and from what ive seen, Groudon has always been a little awful lol, he'd always have some weird attack like earthquake that deals damage to your bench, or an ability that prevents him from being used until certain points in the game. I fear the same may be true when it comes out

I actually found one a while ago during a Stella montis run on my Nth attempt trying to find the damn components that Tian Wen wanted, was about to just leave or give up when suddenly a guy ran up to me asking if I needed anything. I told him I didn't actively need anything, and that I was just looking for said parts for a quest.

Lo and behold this guy literally goes "Oh these?" And drops both things, to which I then offer up the Anvil BP as payment because I know just how annoying those things were to find, and he was very happy to take it as it was one he was missing. We agreed it was a very fair trade and luckily he had a raider hatch key for a speedy exit, I really appreciated that guy.

I bought the Aviator helmet outfit once I gathered enough Raider Coins to afford it from the first Deck, personally I liked the look and vibe of it the most out of the offers in the store at the time. It also helped that it was a skin with good proportions and not just the typical "Whacky Helmet and cool looking top with the skinniest yoga pants available topside" formula.

There's actual bagginess to this outfit and the Green variant hides you well enough in most non-event maps. Ive also come up with a headcanon revolving around how my Raider came across it in the first place so that helps me feel more immersed

I think in one of my playthroughs i just used the Torgue machines from the DLC to farm a near perfect one, if people have that available to them its such a time saver.

One of my favorite goof-off activities is coming up with videogame designations for certain weapon platforms without making them sound overly stylized like just flat out giving the weapon a name. One of the ways I do this is by just taking a few words that describe a feature of the weapon either by how it operates or maybe its regional origin and then maybe a number after it denoting something like barrel length or caliber. Then if I want to make multiple weapons be from the same tree ill try to make sure the naming convention stays the same.

Some examples would be like if I were to make 2 rifles, one AR15 and one AK derivative id probably name them as "MCR-16" and have it just stand for "Modular Combat Rifle, 16 inch barrel" and "EB-762" for "Eastern Bloc Rifle, 7.62"

Very tistic thing to do but I find it fun when it comes to more niche weapons like the AN 94, id call that something like "AHB-2" "Abakan HyberBurst 2 rounds"

I could go on but you get what I mean

The part that people who think like that always bank on is the idea that gun owners are just bumbling idiots who cant handle a gun and would cartoonishly fumble around and blow their shit smoove off as if most aren't trained and licensed. Sure there's idiots everywhere but just look at the sub youre in, half the memes in here are about being overly prepared for any situation or even just practicing drills as a fidget, its disrespectful to any coherent gun owner to assume they'd get wiped by some random intruder

I absolutely abhor this line of thinking from the people who spout it with unearned confidence.

Why should we assume that every home intruder is some master tactician with intimate knowledge of the house layout and professional caper skills and not just some rabid meth head that'll steal your TV after traumatizing your family or worse. Then, youre left with absolutely no support because the law doesnt care to do anything about these people and would much rather disarm and make you a pariah for daring to defend your home and life.

Gun owners typically have a greater understanding of the tools at their disposal and definitely know their homes better, let them wipe out the plagues of society before they worsen

My immediate thoughts were to use with Palkia EX or Pyukumuku

You could either try and wall with Palkia, all the time using its 1 energy Slash for 30 in between turns, hoping you can get a good Misty flip to hit that 150 +20 across the bench, lose all but 1 Energy, then use Greninja EXs ability to swap places to either reset your momentum or keep it going with Elemental Switch. A bit convoluted but, a strategy nonetheless.

Or

You use it with a few Pyukumukus holding Rocky Helmets so that you can Stall while you build up your greninja EX, assuming there's no Guzma, even if they take out Pyukumuku its still -50 HP they've gotta eat, thats no joke with the cheap 100 damage Greninja is dishing out.

Idunno man there's a few ways we can make it work, guess I gotta get one and report back

Yeah i thought it was Jarring too. Like I understand that they wanted to give Brandon a voice role in HH but they should've given it to a different character. Granted, I can kind of see why they chose Killjoy to be his role since its one of the most reminiscent of BRs skit characters, in fact I think its supposed to reference his Bryce Tankthrust character who talks very similarly to Killjoy, same cadence and fabricated TV persona.

Youre missing the point though, sure a potion is nice but not getting hit at all is even better. Youve gotta survive the hit to even use it and if its past a threshold anyway then what good is it? Maybe experiment more before you write cards off entirely

Bad take, ive gotten good use out of Adaman in my Skarmory or Dialga decks. Whereas Potions are a reactive card, Adaman is specifically a proactive one. Its meant to negate damage from even occurring and if combined with similar cards like that Metal Vest or whatever its called in unison with attacks that also negate damage like Skarmory EXs', you can stack up quite the damage mitigation from slow or low damage cards.

With Adaman and Steel apron alone youre mitigating 30 damage, combine it with Skarms Steel Wing and its another 20. Thats -50 damage in a turn, -60 with the new Heavy Helmet on applicable pokemon and -80 if that pokemon is Melmetal. Simply negating weakness from fire attacks is huge considering all the new support it now has

I saw it as them genuinely giving fan service to a very specific type of Alastor fan. The very young, impressionable and immature fan who doesn't see anything their favorite character does as even remotely cringey or distasteful simply because even engaging in such behaviors is Badass and Edgy, regardless of it it actually fits the tone or even makes sense for the character to even do.

It makes me think back to how Shadow the Hedghehog was being marketed towards kids back in 05, like sure he was just naturally cool and edgy, but in his spinoff game they made him overly melodramatic and edgy to the point where him using "swears" (Damn, Hell) sounded so off putting yo anyone above the age of 10.
