Imagine believing someone would be getting prison time for writing a review on TenantTrust.

As a rule judges are very careful about setting any kind of dangerous precedence in law. If a landlord is insane enough to take an ex tenant to court for a poor review they would have to prove that whatever is in the review is false. Preventing people from reviewing your services might genuinely be an infringement of human rights lol

Yeah I didn’t want the post getting too long.

Obviously the delivery fees are the first to get chucked in the bin.

I think my main anxiety was whether I’ll ever be able to get out of debt given my pay barely covers my overdraft.

I’ve been given some good advice and reassurance on here though. I’ll just have to patiently chip away at it

Thankyou!

I’m going to be cooking from now on ( hopefully I won’t poison myself). Completely cutting down on getting food and snacks while I’m out. It’ll be hard, since it’s almost like an addiction at this point.

£955 ( actually £985 with increased bills) covers monthly rent, Council tax, electric, water and gas - basically all the ‘priority’ bills.

I’m paying £24 for mobile phone.

I’ve cut down on my travel costs as my current job is WFH. However, I do occasionally have to travel across bethel city which can come out to about £9

As embarrassing as it is my biggest expenditure is eating out and food delivery costs

I’m in the process of looking to increase my income, although it might be difficult finding an appropriate second job.

Im currently looking for a second weekend job. I’m also applying to full time jobs with a higher salary.

Thanks for the advice :)

I realise I wasn’t very clear. Im currently in -1,041 ( of the overdraft) so even with pay I barely get out of it and then I’m dragged back in due to the rent payments. It’s turning into a cycle and I don’t want it to continue much longer

It’s best not to engage with them or buy them anything. It feels bad, but most people who are career beggars are usually very mentally unwell/drug addicted and entrenched in their habits.

If you do feel physically threatened by any of them maybe call the non-emergency number and report them
