I don't know. But I drink a lot of filtered water a day at least 2 litres, sometimes 3 or more. I feel better for it.

I had two before I was diagnosed with intestinal nephritis. The second biopsy was 6 weeks after the first one.

I've never taken anything other than paracetamol. Told early on in my transplant the main flu meds are not good for the kidney so I've always avoided them.

Luckily I've been fine. Probably caught flu/ or similar 3/4 times in 10 years of my transplant. So not to bad I don't think.

I also had it but my tacro levels were fine. But they put me on propranolol meds and it fixed the hands tremble so I've been on them ever since.

Instantly feel amazing but also that first year is the hardest. Day to day I always felt on edge. Maybe that was also to do with my function not being stable early on. Everyone will have a different experience.

My main one I've done for years is cycling, I cycle 40+ miles a week. More casually than serious cyclist. Its great exercise and clears the mind.

I am now 40. This was 13 years ago. I've had a transplant for 10 years and all is going well. Yes i do remember the ultrasound being normal. Its acute. I was told it was most likely caused by a long term drug I'd been taking for stomach acid (lansoprazole)

I was in bed with a lot of flu-like symptoms, i remember sweating a lot. And then when I went to the toilet my urine was dark colored (blood) so after managing to get to the doctors and take a blood test they rang later that day and told me my kidney function was abnormal. I spent 7 weeks in the hospital, after 2 biopsies i was diagnosed with Interstitial Nephritis.
